People should understand because you invested in the ICO that doesn't mean guarantee 2x and up profit.
Lots of buy sells already happening in the Waves market thread. If you want to lock down SOME profit, that's the place to be. By some you mean minimal. OTC buyers are at a level that guarantees profit for them, ans minimize profit for you. Free market, I'm not too worried. Tomorrow is not promised, for those of us with substantial holdings, a huge roi is not needed, it's already been calculated in the initial purchase. I thought about liquidating 30k, but with the exchange announcement, I'm holding. Some excitement from thread "Buying up to 100k waves at the price 0.00060. I will not make a trade under 10k waves" |

FYI: someone just informed me that he magically had 30k and 5k transfers in his wallet. It was this address http://wavesexplorer.com/address/3PHBX4uXhCyaANUxccLHNXw3sqyksV7YnDz And what is the seed? Try "import account" in your WAVES Lite Client 0.3.0 from github, then click "generate address from seed" and compare the address  With the client 0.3.0 I could reproduce the problem, if you click "generate address from seed" first, then enter the wallet seed, then the password and click "register". Looks like with version 0.3.1 it was fixed. Bad luck for the guys who maybe lost 30k. |

I have personally tested it on several operating systems on multiple browsers. I always got my address from my seed. Maybe the guy had a weak personal seed. Perhaps his computer was hacked. Perhaps he used the informal wallet. ### Make sure that you are using the correct official links You can download the Lite client from this link:https://github.com/wavesplatform/WavesGUI/releases*How to update the wallet?
Download the latest version. See the release date.
Make sure that you have a copy of the Seed. Close wallet. Just download the new archive, unzip it, delete old folders and archives. Open index.html file.
If you do not see your account, Import account using the seed. See instructions below

Yesterday, I imported my ICO account to the Chrome Client and waited for my Waves to come in. They did a couple of hours later. So far so good.
Today I noticed that the funds have been sent elswewhere. And the balance is now showing up again in my ICO account. What has happened here?
(1) Was I hacekd and my funds stolen?
(2) Or were the funds sent back to the ICO account for whatever reason?
If (2) is correct: Why was that the case? And when will the funds go back to my client address?
For me the address that is shown on the ICO account is the one have to login with in the lite client They both show the same amount of Waves. Is the address in your wallet the same as the one in the ICO account? Yes, addresses are the same. I see an outgoing payment from today, though, and the balance in the vlient is now zero. The ICO page shows a "balance". But as I now understand it is not my balance but rather the initial amount of waves received. So I got hacked and the funds were stolen. I had a bad feeling about using a chrome client in the first place. Should have listened to that feeling. Lesson learned. this seems like a pretty serious issue. you should post the transaction info so some super sleuths maybe can help since its not on an exchange yet maybe easier to trace how do think it happened? happened to me also out of my ico account before i even setup my waves wallet. And there is know one to get any help from. |

Slightly off topic and im not quoting the previous poster since i dont want to take up half a page with a photo but what kind of lambo is that, that was posted? Not that my waves are going to be able to pay for it or anything but nice car regardless.

There is no help if you got hacked. Just make sure you don't get hacked. If you are lax on your security there is nothing anybody else can do to help you. |
