Tried to sign on to buy - some error on the site says my password needs to be 8 characters long (it is over 30 characters) and gives me an ERROR. Since the team can't seem to put together a website that works for a trivial login I will pass.

After other ico (like Nxt, Iota, etc...) people complained loudly that they lasted a too short time or that there were too few investors. Now we have an ico with a lot of investors and long duration. People complain again. It's true you can never make everyone happy  Cheesy

Is the bonus already added to the wallet or is that something for after the sale?

Bonuse are being added on the fly.

No they aren't. Math doesn't work that way.

The only thing we know for sure: the amount of Waves in your ICO account decreases on the fly  Grin

Yep, and if somehow they are attempting to add bonus on the fly. That number means almost nothing until the end of the ICO either. So just sit back and have a drink, cause no one knows the final number of coins they get.
Mmmm ... It is not clear how the bonuses are applied, expected to be reflected in the dashboard or announced until the end of ico.

All Waves balances will be changing in your accounts up to the last day of the ICO while new investors are coming. Through first 24 hours when you were depositing 1 BTC, your Waves balance was calculated as if you were depositing 1.2 BTC up to the last seconds of the first 24 hours. Now when someone is depositing 1 BTC, his Waves balance will be calculated as if he was depositing 1.1 BTC until the last of April.

I was wondering if the actual number of donation displayed around 4600 btc was including the bonus if we should add the bonus to this figure ? thank you in advance.

refer to my earlier post. it might help you understand that bonuses are taken into account immediately.

Is the bonus already added to the wallet or is that something for after the sale?

Bonuse are being added on the fly.

No they aren't. Math doesn't work that way.

Of course it works this way.
The 20% bonus was not notable during the first 24 hours because EACH btc investment had the added 20%. This way it made no difference because your share was the same as if no one had gotten a bonus.
Now as the proportion of 10% and 5% bonus investments get bigger during april and may, your 20% bonus will become more and more notable.

example of how the bonus is added on the fly:

A pays 100btc (counts as 120btc)  //20% bonus
B pays 50btc (counts as 60btc)  //20% bonus
__24h passed__
C pays 50btc (counts as 55btc) //10% bonus

before the 24h passed the bonus did not make a difference: A had 66.6% of the waves and B had 33.3%. with or without 20%.

after the 24h period the bonus becomes notable because B now owns 25.5% of waves and C owns only 23.4% but they both paid 50btc.

Everything right, but you miSSed one important point! waves will be traded after ICO on a unique market place and than after several weeks it will hit a exchange without any breath. What do you think will happen?
I think it will cost ten times lower, somewhere about... well, if it is 85 000 000 supply then maybe 0.00000123 sats... I'm asking myself why I just spent more than 1.3 bitcoins to buy some small decreasing sum of waves?
Explain me why I'm wrong! Cheesy

Honestly, no one's going to convince you to purchase. That ball's in your court. If you don't invest now, GREAT! More for us!

Well I'm already invested. I understand that everything is possible and took a risk. But why everybody is so optimistic? As for what is usually happens, there's a big chance that waves will be traded for months at ten or maybe thirty times lower price. I'd like someone to convince me that won't happen, especially because I bought waves today myself.

Let me clearyfy my point and view as a investor.

I dont see that anybody here will make a big roi in the next 12 months, the most of all thinks it will be like ethereum or iota or what ever, but it wont happen. From the perspective of a short profit maker its a mistake to take part, because your BTC are parked for a long time and during this time there are much more possibilities, and after the ico there will not be so many new buyers.

I will invest too, but to a later point. And the only reason why i invest is James and kushti, i think theire involvement with all theire experiences will make it to a success. The whole concept to focus on financial needs is a good one, and is totaly different to eth or lisk which are focused on dapps. This project has another targets and is unique atm. I could also imagine to swap totaly from NXT to Waves, because of all availabilitys that waves is promising, but this is another story. I think that Assets like Supernet could profit huge from waves as a new plattform. So, when i invest in this this project, than not of looking any short profit (which wont happen obviously) , i will invest because i believe that the whole concept will have a future with sasha and tosh as leaders with a vision, and this should be the exactly reason to invest.

Randombit, Kushti-Alexander is NOT a team member.
------------
Read here:
" kushti is here (writing from a some place in Russia, yes).
First, some historical points. Scorex was started in Nov, 2014 as kinda funny project. To that moment, I spent few months working for Nxt. As you may know, Nxt prevents forking with closing code not released into production yet and also by somewhat terrible licensing(since 1.5?). Anyway, it has a lot of forks, and some of them with very interesting ideas (e.g. BURST).
To have thing open to the extreme I've published Scorex under CC0(Public Domain) license, so everyone can do literally anything with the code.
Since last autumn development of Scorex is subsidized by IOHK, and since Feb I'm a Research Fellow and Scorex project director in IOHK Research.
Well, Scorex(as well as papers publicly published) could be used in any project. That surely does not mean collaboration with IOHK. However, we would like to get issues on core functionality to be reported to resolve and also (and especially) pull requests.
Me & Sasha, Charles & Sasha, and three of us had some conversations after Sasha's decision to build Waves on top of Scorex. No any collaboration has been established to the moment as a result. And that is surely up to Charles.
I do not endorse neither oppose Waves ICO. I do not have much technical details, and I'm not competent in other topics.
