Make sure that you have a copy of the Seed. Close wallet. Just download the new archive, unzip it, delete old folders and archives. Open index.html file.
If you do not see your account, use your seed for Import account. See instructions below

It is a bit confusing, I agree. I guess, Bittrex will start this morning (US)/evening (Europe), as they announced the launch at 10am PST.
Poloniex would probably follow afterwards, as soon as they are ready. That is my interpretation of the situation.

you shouldn't want to be able to see your seed when logged in. Because someone would be able too see it if in a public place or if someone has access to remote desktop your pc. So that is not something you can do. Your seed is like your private key. Should be stored if not trading and only seen by your eyes.

if your hdd crash ..you loose all your waves!! make a new account and transfer your waves ...don't forget to keep your seed in a safe place

If you can still access your coins, you're ok. But if you ever clear your cache on browser you're fucked. So If I where you I would create a new wallet on different computer, save the seed, back it up, write it down. and send the coins to the new wallet address.
