back on track... btw. we really need 2fa, my bag is getting heavy and shit started to stress me out Tongue

Well it would be nice if they can add google 2 auth or some similar solution, sms options are too expensive at moment, i would like to know too if it is possible to create a paper wallet for waves.

Just click on the back-up icon in your Waves client (looks like a stack of coins) and then "copy".
Now paste it in Word or Notepad and after printing it, store it in a safe place.

is it smart to public your seeds and crypted seeds Huh? ,  altho you are an veteran so you should know what you are doing Smiley

I'm pretty sure that's not his account.  He's just using it that backup as an example.  His Waves address is in his personal text.

Where I find the official Waves white paper. The link Google gave me is not working https://wavesplatform.com/files/whitepaper_v0_ENG.pdf

Even if I open the files folder I get a forbidden action message.

The white paper is probably outdated by now.  You can get all the latest news on Waves here:  https://blog.wavesplatform.com/latest

All alts are under heavy pressure by BTC growth. Time to get some cheap WAVES? I have very low funds, but I'll invest now to get few waves!

I used to think $10 was achievable in several years but the way things are going we could see that a lot sooner. Especially with the price of BTC moving up. I don't want it to move up too quickly. A nice steady climb with some corrections here and there.

But I agree with others in this forum. With Eth at $200, it's so easy to see Waves at $50 in a couple years. Great long term investment.  Wink

Given the Bull market and all the new money coming into Bitcoin (the dip will only be temporary until people take profits for BTC) then I think a couple of months is more likely for $50.  A couple of years down the line I would expect $200 or more.

That's right, new money coming from the stock market and forex traders.  MSN.com has been posting quite a few articles on the price of bitcoin on their homepage.

CNBC is another big one. They've been posting articles and talking about it on TV daily.

I can't make any purchases on the exchange from the app. It says "Error! Order has not been created!". I'm on a mac, if it makes a difference. Anyone know why this is happening, and what I can do to fix it?

I have BTC that I deposited this morning, and I'm trying to buy WAVES at the moment. It just keeps giving me an error.

You don't have Waves yet?
Can you post your Waves address? I'll send you the amount you need to buy Waves.

Currently only Waves is accepted as a trade fee on DEX.
That will be changed in future releases but right now you have to own Waves to buy Waves (or other coins) Tongue

So how the fuck am I supposed to get 0.003 WAVES if I can't even buy them for the first time? Why wouldn't it just charge me in the currency that I'm using to purchase the WAVES?

Anyone willing to send me 0.003 WAVES and I'll send back 0.1 WAVES after my first exchange? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Thanks very much to Turing for sending me enough to get my order placed!

Is this the time to see WAVES at $ 20? Or is it a distant dream? What would be missing for this to happen, what I see is only great news!
