block 103005 and looks like no changes in PoS. PoS is still stacked?!
It is not Yobit error. It is DEV mistake, bcs he is not capable to fix POS issue.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Hmm, it seems new fix did not work, still no PoS blocks.

Can we just go back to original PoS code that was used before 100k, that worked just fine IMHO.

I vote for old PoS code.

Tnx for the vote Smiley

This is getting really annoying. If anyone wants to help out with the code I would be happy to give a bounty.

I have the last exam on my faculty this monday and I have to study like crazy over the weekend. So first thing on monday after my exam I will start rewiewing and retesting the code.

But if anyone wants to help in the meantime please do, if you can spot the bug Smiley

I can also give some bounties for fixes.

I like to propose also that block target time could be some faster than current ~100sec, something like 60 seconds would IMHO be better.

If the block target time should be 90sec (looking OP) it seems to be in reality ~100sec, so it definetely needs some fixing too, and for me i dont mind making it more close to 60sec.

Also would like to see more PoS targeted than PoW, as we dont have any good GPU miner software, think none for AMD cards.
Maybe shorten PoW phase or PoW blocks could give smaller rewards? Any ideas?

I disagree with PoW mods

ehhhm, whats wrong with 50% "faster" time for block and 50% less coins per block?

less count is not an issue ...

but a real risk of forking on very fast times - with the code already having issues - is not a good way to go ...

solidify the base code first - THEN change the timing and test and see if its worth implementing ...

I Agree, PoS needs to be 1. priority to get fixed so it works again.

Then we can discuss whats next.
I would like to see faster block times, atleast moving towards original 90 sec time, but i would prefer even faster times.

Regarding PoW vs PoS, IMHO i would like to see more PoS rewards in future, less from PoW.
We dont have ATM good miner software(s) for Neva, ocminer is CPU miner? those are dead for me Smiley
current NVidia miner works, i use that but it still has some issues and there is no AFAIK AMD miner for Neva (?)

I am not touching PoW code in this situation. Without pow the network would die right now.

So after pos is fixed we can discuss this further.

Regarding the timing, I would not like to decrease it, it could cause problems down the road, when the whole world is using nevacoin (I am very optimistic Cheesy) and blocks get bigger, block propagation can be problematic because of the increased latency.

Anyway, fixing pos now, other stuff later Smiley

Well that is already achieved, after the second halving there is no more PoW.

Decreasing the reward before that does not seem fair to me since PoW is more energy intensive than PoS. If anythig it should be the other way around.

But nevacoin was desinged this way for a reason, to make all blocks equal, with fixed rewards. I think it is still a good idea and it differs from tha majority of PoS altcoins...

And when will fix be ready? Who knows, DEV does not know? Go back to earlier release and than work on fix, it is simple as that...

Is there any news about yobit's situation?

I have a support ticket open with them, but it feels like talking to a wall...

In the near future. Now make a list of all updates for coin maintenance.

Can you please let me know when you make it run again?

Thanks

Yes, yobit wallet is online. I predict that huge Dump is incoming. Actually it has already started.
Update: Yes it is happening Undecided

For 3 weeks so called DEV is not capable to fix POS, great idea for the coin but very poor implementation. With that attitude this coin is finished.
I will mine it than dump it every day just to bring it out of misery and crypto world existence.
