Since Wirex was announcing last year they'll have again cards for worldwide use, I hope that this means they work on a deal with another card issuer.
Wirex is shooting in the dark. New cards were announced in August. There are no cards or card providers, just fantasies. They had bitten off much more they can chew. That's why they will fall apart overnight.

What will happen to a transaction that was sent to my card just before they were blocked? Will I still receive my money?

Maybe there is hope, look at this:
Greetings all,
The vision for TokenCard has always been to marry the power of the Ethereum network with the global reach of the payments networks. This coupling unleashes onto the world a product of unparalleled financial access and control: from the (newly?) wealthy to those looking to regain control of their own finances, and by extent lives, the TokenCard is the epitome, the holy grail, of payment platforms.
This vision has always been a global one. To that end we have been on the lookout for an issuer that can provide us with the flexibility we need to complete this vision. In 2015, at the time of us first engaging our original issuing partner, WaveCrest, they had been able to help us fulfil this goal: through passive issuance we would be able to send cards to a near global market.
Over time WaveCrest’s situation evolved causing them to lose their ability to do global passive issuance; cards would only be sent within the EU. This however wouldn’t suffice for us, and we expedited our plans to work with larger and more sophisticated issuers with global reach.
Now, WaveCrest has been forced to indefinitely suspended all card activities, spelling the end of an era for them.
Today, with great excitement, we want to announce that we’ve been working in stealth on a new partnership with a prominent and large issuer. With our new partner we will have the ability to deploy cards globally. YES, that includes the US. China however is out with this one (but worry not 😉).
Alas, we had not intended to reveal our strategic launch plans this soon. We had wanted to announce the global rollout of TokenCard on the day we actually would be able to start shipping en masse.. for effect.
In short, the negatives:
Before we can launch we will need to complete API integration with the new issuer A significant amount of time has been put into WaveCrest Potential for panicky community Positives:
API integration will be quicker thanks to lessons learnt and back end already being completely in place Issuers are somewhat drag-and-droppable, little modification to the entire codebase is needed to get The entire early mover advantage any competition had (Xapo, Wirex, Tenx) has been wiped away as their cards stopped working this morning. It has become a complete green field market, the clock has been reset and things are going to get juicy. The market is ours for the taking WaveCrest is a large single point of failure since the bulk of crypto projects are with them. Moving away from this concentration decrease our risks accordingly. Additional issuers might be put in place in paralel. We will be able to ship cards globally! This includes major markets such as the US and South Korea. More sophisticated fulfilment and card material options. NFC, contactless! Will be available from day 1! This is a big deal here in the UK, but also in Korea, Canada and Australia. We are working fast to seize the moment. Stay tuned.
More details on country restrictions will follow.
To the team at WaveCrest I want to thank them for all their work. The team there is filled with stars who have simply found themselves in an unfortunate situation. Our engagement with WaveCrest stretches far back and our card product only just missed public deployment with them. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed working with their excellent team.
We wish you guys all the best. Truly.
Best,
Mel Gelderman and the Token team.
TL;DR The Token team was well prepared and has in stealth been working on a much larger partnership to bring the TokenCard to a global audience.

Maybe there is hope, look at this: ...
First of all, you are spamming quite a number of threads with this. Quite unexpected from a legendary member. Also as legendary you should know it's not nice to advertise the competition in somebody's thread. Not forbidden, but not nice. Now about your mail. I don't know about this TokenCard, but: 1. Since they are also not working, they don't worth mentioning. I know of a few that do work, they are mentioned in another thread you've posted this, you can read there. 2. You should know that Wavecrest cards were Europe-only lately and most Bitcoin card businesses were already working with others too. I know at least about Wirex and TenX. So again, your card is not worth mentioning. 3. Wirex was telling last year that new cards are about to come, so it should be near. Do you have an estimation from TokenCard?

Hello, after a few attempts to transfer card money into BTC, today I received an email from wirex support team. That my funds on Visa card cannot be transferred into BTC wallet. So basically my money ($850 USD) is stuck on wirex.
The truth is that waiting for wirex to find a new partner is not acceptable. I understand that loosing visa support is a major issue. But you cannot hold my funds indefinitely.
You need to find a solution. Thank you.

What to update? All the exchangers has been fucked by visa. Theres a few left, but they have probably been warned by their paymentproviders to cut off the cryptopart (a few sites is still running, which doesnt have full focus on crypto, but swift/wire transfers too) My guess is these sites will shut down very soon, at least their crypto systems. All the fucked companies keeps saying "we are in contact with the new cardprovider", but they have to say this...... to keep customers. This is a fresh market again. Everyone is afraid, and want new customers. Even companies doesnt inform customers that cards are unavaible. And i paid like 3 places for a card, and was met by a "closed for now" shit afterwards. No one is gonna sign any contracts with any of these guys again. If they do, they will loose their business. And companies like west crest opponents, will not even touch any companies that are doing crypto. This is game over. If you live in UK you can at least order a prepaid Paysafe card, and top it up with cash by buying Paysafe cards in stores. But sadly i dont. And if you, VISA, or any goverment who has been a part of this, did this to regulate and keep shady business out of the light, then consider..... Now we go and sell our coins to shady people around. People buying large amounts of bitcoins for cash, has alot cash. From where? I am sure the money in my pocket right now is from something you are trying to stop even harder. Fucking EU parlament

Again, even if your theory is fascinating, it has no physical proof.
If we had 2 providers dealing with crypto, and both shut down, we could say "it's crypto" But as far as we know, only wavecrest has been shut down.
So the problem is perhaps more if there will be another provider so big to issue so many cards.
If mistertango will close its mastercard program, we'll have probably the definitive proof that there is a war against cryptos

They will probably close their crypto section, and not their mastercard program. Remove the bitcoin funding option

"New crypto debit cards, with multiple currency accounts in GBP, EUR, USD, and BTC are offered by Wirex in Europe. The first plastic Visa cards were issued on Thursday, according to media reports. The new cards were made available for UK users on March 8. The service should be offered to customers in other EU countries by the end of the month." https://news.bitcoin.com/wirex-launching-bitcoin-debit-cards-in-europe/

Would love to know more information about your card issuer. I hope it's a relationship which you envisage will last permanently. A globally respected prepaid card services provider such as Wirecard would be my guess but I might be wrong. I don't really mind which issuer you use for as long as they are compliant, stable and here to stay for the years to come.
I can't wait for reviews from those lucky enough to get the earliest batch of cards. I'm a non-UK and non-EEA resident so might need to wait in line.
