I will also place a podium bet later to cover my straight win bet.
As things stand the market doesn't consider Verstappen as a serious contender for his home GP.
But I think they will be wrong and I should get a good run for my money

Compared to Max, I'm more confident that Lando can get a podium in this race, especially considering that Zandvoort has high downforce characteristics, which favors McLaren. However, with those odds, I think it's quite worth betting on Max, because Lando or Kimi could have problems or something else that could allow Max to win the race, who knows? However, there's no need to expect too much, because my feeling is that Max might only finish in the top 3.

Finally a race week man... Another break of a month was really insane! This was of course a planned summer break which happens pretty much every year. 

But especially after the unexpected one after cancelled races, I felt like I was wandering away from this season slowly.


As for Max I wish him the best at home GP! There has been an improvement in his results lately. Wouldn't say no to seeing him capturing another podium at least! 

A win? Hmm... It looks really difficult with that car.

Now that you mention the non-existent upgrades for the home race - I feel a bit less confident....more than yesterday
But there is of course no going back for me and I will just hope for the best.

Hadjar will not be able to race at this year's Dutch GP. Hadjar is reported to have injured his wrist while training in the gym, and this prevents him from competing. He is said to be given two weeks to recover before the Italian race. Red Bull immediately made a replacement by placing Liam Lawson in his seat, while Tsunoda will fill in for Lawson at Racing Bulls.

It seems that Red Bull does not have much faith in Tsunoda to replace Hadjar for this race, and prefers to place Lawson in that position.

Free Practice 1 is ongoing.  For you guys who have already made your bets, watch the line movement after the practice session then decide what to do.  Some of those lines become buy low spots but most of them shows that you're holding a losing ticket right off the bat.

Max's FP1 performance was less than satisfactory. He lagged far behind, finishing in 11th place in this practice session. His time was about 1.376 seconds behind Antonelli. His teammate, Lawson, was also in 14th place. It seems Red Bull still needs to make adjustments to be competitive on this circuit.

Mercedes, after its upgrades, showed quite good performance. Kimi managed to set the fastest time in this practice session. Russell also delivered a good result in P3. But it's still too early to say they can secure a podium finish, as Lando also performed impressively. We'll have to wait and see how the next session goes; if Mercedes can perform consistently, they have a good chance of securing a podium finish.

It's an official announcement on F1 X account so it's real! I wonder how RB managed to convince Max for a new contract... It's even until 2030! 

I thought he'd sign for Mercedes/Ferrari in the near future. Such a disappointment for me.

Russell looks solid though but I'm not sure about him in the real deal yet... In qualifying or race he can show a total opposite performance. He is so inconsistent this season for some reason.

Russell looked incredibly solid in the earlier sprint race, securing P1 ahead of Charles in P2. However, in the qualifying session, Lando managed to take P1 and lock in pole position, with Russell and Kimi right behind him. As I mentioned earlier, this is shaping up to be a "Lando vs. Mercedes" battle, as he is the only one who looks truly capable of challenging the Mercedes duo.

As for the home favorite, Max, his chances of winning seem slim, though a podium finish remains a possibility if the race turns chaotic. Realistically, he will likely have to settle for a spot in the top five.

It was such a shame that in his final home race, Max had to retire due to a DNF after slipping and crashing because of the sudden rain. However, even considering his pace, this was a poor race overall for Red Bull.

Meanwhile, the winner of this race was Lando. He managed to beat the Mercedes duo in the race by a narrow margin. He secured the victory despite the brief rain shower, as he handled his pace brilliantly and maintained his position. As for Piastri, he had to settle for P4 after a fierce battle for position with Ferrari.

Dan Ferrari is still not quite capable of conquering this circuit. Both Hamilton and Charles only managed to secure P5 and P6 in this race. They faced intense competition to secure a podium finish, but unfortunately, they still failed.

The next race is in Italy. Ferrari certainly has a big job to win this race.

^  I think we're starting to see that thing when the ride is turning for a team but the bookies are not adjusting their lines yet.  We may see a couple more weeks of undervalued mispricing for Norris and an overvalued mispricing for Antonelli.

Meh yeah...  Disappointing. I guess I won't be watching F1 closely again next year.  Will just follow the sport from the sidelines and watch the highlights, read the news.

Well....that didn't go very well for me
Normally I don't do cashouts but Rainbet still offered me a nice rate so I cashed out my podium bet with a relatively minimal loss.
My win bet of course failed instantly!


Anyway, what an eventful race that was - really happy for Norris.
I needed Hamilton to overtake Russell for the Division 2 title in BSFL but the last virtual safety car ruined it for me.
Still wonder why Piastri was so slow compared to Norris.

The race won by McLaren driver Lando Norris. We can say it was an enjoyable race. After the final pit stops, Kimi Antonelli lost an astonishing amount of speed. Although he said over the radio, “there’s a problem check it out,” the team replied with something like, “we don’t see any issues.” Lando capitalized on the situation well. I’d also like to make a note about Fernando Alonso. After the latest update made the Aston Martin “somewhat race ready,” he showed what he was capable of and secured important points. Once again, we saw that, for him, age is truly just a number.
