People mocking of me for using Bitcoin

Maybe they are not more aware about bitcoin or they think its fallacy and cant believe that its expensive now.We are very optimistic about this bitcoin but some are not fully acquainted or does not heard about this. Misinfornation they read and some skeptics cant accept this.

yeah I have also experienced it. they think that. hany you wasting your time for searching for bitcoin. they think bitcoin will die soon anyway. but I ignored it

I am trying to refrain myself from saying things like 'Bitcoin will go to the moon' because it sounds ridiculous to whoever you are trying to explain Bitcoin to. I haven't been derided for using Bitcoin yet and I don't try to force Bitcoin down the throats of other people either.

people was mocked me when I start using bitcoin first time. but I didn't listen them and continue my hard work and just let them say whatever they want to say. I made my and one day I made 10000$ through bitcoin and shut upped their mouths, now everyone in my area believe on bitcoin and believe on me. because I just rocked.... lolzzz..

Well duh, don't be speculative about bitcoin. You'd get similar comments for saying that whatever asset could go to the moon, but bitcoin is so volatile and speculative that every person in his right mind would think twice before taking you seriously. Never say that bitcoin will go to the moon if you want to be taken seriously.

" digital money, wtf did you think was going to happen?? if you think blockchain tech is a joke, JP morgan along with every other bank in the world disagrees with you, get with the program, money is turning digital, crying about it or choosing to remain ignorant won't do you any good."

...and they say "why of course money's digital, Sweetie, did you just figure it out? I've been using this here CC since before you was a disturbing leer in your Daddy's eye! Did you think Mommy's money was analog? Or that the Japanese boy you always talk about, what's his name? Tasoshi? Satooshie? Did you think he invented digital money?"

if they say somthing like that, it's likely the concept that their "digital" Fiat dollars cannot be "sent" without a cantralathority ( and all of what that implies ) is probably far beyond their grasp.

so...

just keep pointing to the fact that banks across the world are investing into building blockchains. beat them over the head with it until they accept it as truth, and ask "why are they doing that?"

It was like that in 2013/2014 with some people around me that were telling me that I was wasting time and money. I proved them wrong. Some of these people are now holding some coins to hold for the future, because they seem to understand the need for Bitcoin in the current world.

No not yet, and currently I am still studying... But who knows, if I got a job already this coming year, and invest a few coins, there is a probability that I will be, I still believe in bitcoin..

I think you made common mistake we all do sometimes.
We are sometimes to inspired with something and want to share ''great news'' with everyone.
Unfortunately, others don't have our experience or knowledge and can't understand what we are talking about.
If we push them to much they can even become negative and attack us.
it's important to be wise in such situation, don't talk to much and wait for concrete results, before we start to talk.
It's the best approach in my opinion.

I tried that, Adam, and this is what Mom said:
"Of course there's a central authority, Pumpkin Pie! That's why I don't have to worry about getting a turd instead of the laptop I paid for.
Mommy is old, and she knows that there are many people she has to trust when she, as you young people say, transacts.
Mommy has to trust her bank, her CC, the mailman, the truck driver delivering the package, the airplane pilot, the other mailman on the other side of the world, the other truck driver, and, last but not least, the righteous d00d selling the laptop or, as you youngsters say, the counterparty.

Of all these links in the chain of trust, Mommy's bank is the only one which is yet to screw up. So Mommy thinks you should stop it with your crazy imaginary problems. And when any of the links try to steal Mommy's money or laptop, Mommy can call the central authority & have her money back.

i have never had such experience before to be honest, when i start talking about all the possibilities they seem to be scared that bitcoin can take over all the banks and so on

i guess you just need to know the way how you should tell people about it in order to make them believe it is the future of everything

That has happened to me too. But I'm calm and just laughed with them.
I think bitcoins has a great future ahead of it, but most of the time people won't understand what I'm saying.
