People mocking of me for using Bitcoin

You say they mock you because you are using Bitcoin. Then you should make fun of them for being such a bunch of retarded fellows. They don't even deserve to know what bitcoin really is! Just sit back because you will take the last laugh at them sometime soon!

Don't mind what other people think.  This is why it best not to discuss finances of any kinds with friends or family, it is like politics and religion.  People don't understand bitcoin yet - they will.

Anyone of you had this kind of situation ? personally,whenever I start speaking about Bitcoin and how it will go to the moon and that kind of stuff , some of people start mocking (Friends  , Family etc ..) .
I personally don't know how to respond in most cases honestly , I just believe bitcoin will become successful .

The same happens to me, I am mocked especially by my family when I talk about the success of bitcoin. They say that you will lose your money, just leave to adopt it. But I have trust that it will get success and will make me earn good wealth.

Why would you care what others think? I'm sure the people who first used computers/mobile phones/the internet were all mocked at first. With that being said I wouldn't try sell it to people as a guaranteed investment of 'going to the moon'. Most people will probably juust think its a too good to be true scam or something and nothing is guaranteed. Bitcoin could as easily just collapse or become obsolete then you will look silly and those people who mocked you will be pretty smug. Just explain the positives and negatives and make sure theyre aware of the risks. They'll probably respect you more for that.

Actually I had a situation where I had to explain what bitcoin is multiple times but haven't been made fun of at since the people I talked to where all specialized in computer technology and although they weren't using but liked bitcoin system.

Well my advice is dont say too much about it.. Just say what you believe and leave it to that cause if you are wrong and BitCoins die in the future they might mock you more.. But to be fair i also think bitCoins will be a huge thing in the future. Just dont act toooo excited about it

When I'm noticed bitcoin, I'm not interest at all. But in some way, I'm looking for it and lead me into local forum.
That forum taught me about how powerfull bitcoin is , so in short I'm becoming interest for it.
As I'm want to introduce btc with my office friend, they doesn't believe me at all. But I show demonstration that bitcoin can be purchase just like credit card.

I once told my mom that someday I will be rich, and I will be collecting bitcoin as a side job, but my mom said, how could you say that you will be rich with that thing that you can't even hold? you are just wasting your time using your computer and thinking you'll get rich just by sitting there.. funny, but its true...

Yes this is human behaviour I think.
Although I'm not telling them that Bitcon will hit the moon.
I'm just speaking about the tech in general and it's disruptive potential and what the internet, world could look like in 10+ years.
Even my computer science professor was extremely sceptic and thought it's just a scam and use by criminals until I hold a 30 minute presentation about history of money, internet and crypto currencies.Now he seems to see these things a bit different.

10+ years is too long the bitcoin at its track is much faster and it will gain its peak value and success very sooner, I think it will not take more than 4 years to get success and to become a global currency for virtual world.

It will also be much better that we tell them that it is a virtual currency invented for online use and it will be established as global digital currency. So, with that they will search about bitcoin online and they will find all the available data about its legitimacy and success.

Yepp that's it.
Trying to tell others how Bitcoin will conquer the world and you rich is totally dumb and embarrassing.This will definitely make people laugh and believe you're a joke and can not be taken seriously.
Just explain in simple terms what it is and what ti can do.And then demonstrate it. This has always given me best feedback.Because then suddenly the others' brain starts working and they are beginning to ask the right questions.
