It is difficult to find a set formula, but there are things that can be done and that can help you to save money... As for example, make a list of things you buy, and remove items that are unnecessary... planning is everything.

For the bitcoin investment, it is better to just buy and hold for the long term as the price will rise.

One of the principles I hold on to in managing finances is this -
while saving money is important.. start saving when you are already free from debt.
Any incurred debt is simply eating up whatever finances you may have saved.
Be debt-free first.. then start saving.

Once you are debt -free.. that amount that you used to pay for whatever debt ( loans, credit card etc) continue "paying" that amount.. but this time direct to your account dedicated for your savings.

Exactly, someone buying any kind of things when he has money, whether important or not would probably lose his money that he could save from his salary or income, so if someone applies the method you said he will be able to manage his money in a better way.

So I have seen a lot of topics relating to different methods of managing money ("How to earn Bitcoin, "How to save money") and the likes. Now I would like to see what are the best ways people can come up with in regards to managing their money. I find creating a budget is one of the fundamentals of managing money. If you have no records, you can't know exactly how much money you have to spend each month. Another piece of advice I would like to give to people is to not use your credit card unless you're able to pay it off in full at the end of the week.

Any input?
I have a strict system of managing money. Firstly, I have different types of money (I mean, money to spend on different thigs). I have money for food, for pills, for rent, for transport expences, for holidays. Money for food is a fixed amount I can spend per day. If I need to spend a bit more then the next day I spend less. Money for pills, rent and transport expences is a fixed amount per month. Money for holidays is the money which is left and can be saved or spent on cafes and some other expencive for everyday life stuff. Different types of money are kept in different places not to mix anything. I find this system helpful. Oh, and I withdraw nearly all the money from a card, because it's easier for me to use cash/

To manage well your money first of all you need  integrity, you must not be the kind of person who sends the life savings to the wallet of dice for example, second you need cold blood and not and not act on impulse. Third choose a goal and work hard to achieve it

the best way to manage your money is to keep the half of your salary on your bank and spend the rest to your everyday needs. keep tracking your earnings monthly. and put it on a good investment that can gives you a lot of profits.

There are several steps that can help in financial management. I think it's important to have savings, as this can help you in unexpected situations, but for that you need to save money, and it's only possible by cutting spending.

To manage your money properly it is very useful to create a list of the expenses you should do anyway: like paying bills, buying food, clothes etc. This should be done every month and after you substracted from the total amount you earn per month all those expenses you can plan your activity of leisure.

It is really important to have savings as that is your way to success. A person who does not know how to save will never be successful unless he is too lucky to win in gambling, we need to have savings for our future expenses and investment and we can do that if we learn to sacrifice our wants and focus only on our needs.

Save for the future and don't invest what you can't afford to lose. Just buy what you need neccessarily and don't buy just because it is trending or others have it. Before buying something expensive think if you really need it. If its not think twice before buying it. Managing money is really difficult if we have many responsibilities in life.

Certainly the first step should be to recognize your limitations, knowing what is really necessary for you. Thus it will be easier to eliminate expenses that are unnecessary, and this will help you to have savings.

That's the same as prioritizing your needs than your wants to be able to manage your money properly. Only few can do that because it requires a lot of discipline and human as we are, we are near to temptation and we can easily loss our budget planning because we tend to not control our emotion over our wants.

If we want to succeed, we should know how to sacrifice and by sacrificing it will bring us to a better future or financial freedom.

Best way to manage money is to keep a spreadsheet of all your incomes and expenses, this way you can keep a tab and control over how much you spend, then you tend to waste less money. My Dad is an accountant and he taught me that.

We have to be discipline to have control, we cannot manage our money well if we are dictated by our wants. Our wants is the main hindrance to be able to manage our money well, too much wants will make us ruin our money management.

Saving is also important and we need to learn that as well as that is part on how to manage our money.

Yes, it's a good way to manage your finances. But not everyone can do it. Some people just do not have the patience and skill to do it systematically. This is a good way to manage money

That's a very detailed one, you are like managing your own business. If it's possible have some kind of report like income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, it would be more comprehensive.

It takes a whole lot of disciplinen to do this but this is worth it.
Once you are able to see and keep track of the incoming and outgoing expenses you realize the expenses that you can live without  ( Starbucks, cigarettes, beers (maybe lessen the bottles), movies etc  and start looking at the column where the savings are.

Financial discipline could be very overwhelming so I suggest have a plan.
If you are a christian.. save 10% as your tithe.
Others say pay yourself first.
It is like exercise.. it gets easier as you go along.
