Groningen VS Feyenoord : the hosts Groningen just came back at winning with 2 wins in row now after 6 winless games t if them they lost also the visitors are not in a good form either as they only managed to win just one game of their past 10 so both teams that do not have a lot of confidence are facing each other this match Since both of them finding it hard to win games in the past few weeks this one will be hard to predict the winner but have a number of attackers with a lot of scoring power so I will go to this game for Over 2.5. also both teams to score because the host Groningen did not manage to keep clean sheets in the last seven matches and at Feyenoord it even went for eight games without a clean sheet.

Patrick Kluivert's son Justin Kluivert scored a hattrick of beautiful goals when Ajax faced Roda Jc earlier today. He will indeed carry the legacy of his father and with the way that he is playing, I am sure Ajax will make some good money off him when he is finally snapped up by one of the European giants.

Feyernood scored seven times as they beat bottom of the table Rotterdam by 7-0 at the Het Kasteel. Meanwhile Ajax extended their unbeaten run games against AZ Alkmaar to five when they beat by 2-1 at the AFAS Stadion and thus making Ajax leapfrog Alkmaar to the second position.

Ajax has exonerated today, Marcel Keizer (in addition to his deputy Hennie Spijkerman and his collaborator Dennis Bergkamp).
Ajax winning the direct clash against PSV (3-0) 2 weeks ago, had reduced the gap to 5 points and then reopened the Eredivisie.
But the elimination in the Dutch cup against Twente (in addition to the elimination in the champion's league and then in the Europa League at the beginning of the season) was decisive for this choice.
Michael Reiziger is the new coach of Ajax.

My predictions for this round's games :
Breda Vs Utrecht : after two successive defeats, one at home and the other outside, I think the visitors will still lose this game, I will bet with home win.
AZ Alkmaar Vs Heerenveen : an easy game for in order to forget the defeat of the previous week against Ajax, I will bet with home win.
PSV Vs Vitesse : in my opinion it is the most spectacular match of the round, since one has a magnificent attack while the other has a very strong defense, I will bet with home win and under 3.5 goals.
Feyenoord Vs Roda : after the high score of the game that precedes, I think that the morale is up and the team will win, I will bet with home win

My predictions for this round's games :

I don't think basing your prediction purely based on who is playing at home is going to work, The last game played at Nac Breda home saw Utrecht win the game by 5-1 with Nac Breda winning the subsequent game playe at Utrecht home ground by 4-3. I think more than three goals being scored will be a more accurate choice. |

It is not difficult to predict today's result, I see that PSV will win as always because they have a really a good team and they are on the TOP of the Eredivisie championship.
So my bet for them will be 1/1 & 2+.
The second important game in this fixture is AZ Alkmaar VS Heerenveen, it is a great game and I recommend football fans to watch it. My bet for this game is 1X or if you are a risk taker you can bet with +2.5 goals.

Manager Dick Advocaat have returned to his former club Sparta Rotterdam. The Dutch team is struggling at the bottom Eredivisie .Advocaat who left the Dutch national team last month after failing to qualify for work cup with the orange now signed a contract on Monday that will keep him to the end of the season. And the sack of their previous manager Alex Pastor came after five defeats in row the last one so them lose 7-0 to previous season champions Feyenoord. All I can say is it will be difficult mission for Advocaat to move the team up but it's not impossible good thing the team opted to get a an experienced manager then getting fesh face for this situation.

The number of talents offered by Ajax every season is very important, also the team performs great locally during all the games with a team having a small age average and distinctive. But I wonder every time when Ajax will return to the European front ? and in what era will the club management build a project that integrate its school product with experienced players from other clubs in order to come back strongly to the front again.
I really doubt Ajax are going to become an European soccer powerhouse like they previously used to be, If they eventually stop their policy of selling their big talents to the other European clubs, then they are going to rise again into the limelight that they previously enjoyed. |

Heerenveen are not in their top form in the last two months they recorded just one win in 8 games but their chances in play off is still live only 4 points separate them from 7th place vitesse despite that their only win came at home against Breda 1-0 they should find themselves winning again when Sparta Rotterdam coming to visit them. The visitors are in very poor shape at the bottom of the league with 7 defeats in row now and from 19 games they played only 2 wins gone for them and they were at home so for this game I don't think that they have a chance to stop Heerenveen from winning in front of their fans so better bet on home win & over 1,5 goals.

However, Ajax failed to do so. Had a lead in the 16th minute through Amin Younes, they failed to maintain the advantage. In the 55th minute, Bryan Smeets brought De Graafschap to equalize the score to 1-1. The position lasted until the final whistle sounded.
Instead of Ajax get the 34th title, in the end it is PSV who get the 23rd title. The championship trophy flew to Eindhoven after PSV won 3-1 over PEC Zwolle.
Compete at home to Zwolle, IJsseldelta Stadion, PSV winning 2-0 in the first half through goals from Juergen Locadia (34 ') and Luuk de Jong (43'). Zwolle had to score through Ouasim Bouy in the 66th minute, but De Jong again brought PSV away a minute later.

this year the great favorite is the Psv even if up to a few weeks had a greater advantage than Ajax. But the PSV did not win last year! in 2017 at surprise won the Feyenoord (after 18 years since the last victory) |

Considering Sparta have won only two games the entire season and have drawn 5 and lost the remaining thirteen games, I really think that has Heerenveen not won today's game it would be their fault entirely especially since they played at home today. |

Zwolle didn't start the new year on the right foot because they managed to win only a game from last 4 in Eredivisie and now they on two game lose streak but they still in for the Europa League play offs as they currently in 5th place and their chances to stay in top 7 are still strong and they are pretty good at home their visits needs more work on while the visitors Heerenveen lost only 1 from last 5 games in Eredivisie and they are only 6 points behind the hosts unfortunately they are not doing well in defense conceaded 7 goals from the previous 4 away games so I think we will get over 2.5 goals as I expect an open game.

Feyenoord vs Groningen prediction.
Feyenoord will host the next Eredivisie match of the 22nd this week at home to Groningen, before starting this match Feyenoord is in a bad performance, their last game in a defeat when they visit VVV Venlo with a 1-0 score.
Currently Feyenoord are in 5th place in the Premier League standings by collecting 36 points from 21 games down one level shifted by PEC Zwolle who underwent this week's opening game and picked a narrow victory while entertaining Heerenveen 3-2 with a thin score. The win will put Feyenoord back into fourth place in the Champions League zone.

Congratulations for PSV for lifting the Eredivisie this is their 24 league title and their 3rd for the previous 4 years and they became the second highest Dutch team holding the sheild only Ajax still have 9 more league titles over them but despite losing yesterday's league title, but Ajax may be the summer market star first, not by buying but by selling.
Newspaper reports The Netherlands is talking about visits from the biggest scouts in Europe, and it will not be surprising to leave 5 or 6 players for great prices first of them will be the marrocain striker Ziyach Roma and Milan the most interested in him.
