I was not going even near gambling if I was rich. It is not because now I gamble to get quick money or become rich. It would be lack of time for such activities. If I was rich all my focus was to expand more and more my business. This is for sure because now being common person have lot of time for many activities like gambling.

You just have said that because you are not rich already but when you have the money and you will feel that you have the freedom to do everything that makes you happy you will eventually change your mindset.

whether being rich or poor gambling is gambling in both option who are playing will be playing, poor play gambling to become rich and rich play gambling to kill the time and show off his money power. so in both option gambler will play gambling in any condition only the situation of the result changes.

it could be a good idea , but since he is not an addicted gambler well it's easy to say like that , it could be different situation if he is an addicted gambler who make gambling more than a source of income and more than a hobby. it's a real trouble to realize that idea. once you are in gambling world you would struggle to out from this , so rich or not you'll still gamble.

Yeah thats true gsmbling is fun if you are using gambling to entertain yourselves but how about people that used gambling as method to earn? They can still gamble but they are prone to addiction as they can easily get frustrated especially when they lose so better not to try it as we know that gambling is very risky.

That is human nature, even though you are rich already you still want to become richer as if you don't have satisfaction in terms of money and with that kind of attitude that is not good when in gambling because he could be addicted until he loses all his money.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.

true, gambling is good depending of you are playing with it. If you know how to control and manage your money then I think you can gamble. But if you are out of control in playing gambling please avoid it as early as you can. Because you can lose that you cannot afford to lose. And I agree that gambling is just a hobby and not to get rich. Sometime if we win once in gambling we can't stop ourselves in playing with it. But I know there are people that after winning they just want to stop and put the money in their savings

We cannot determine really the exact percentage but most poor people start with gambling because of fun and later on when they got hooked they will target to win money that makes then fail in the end.

Unless you are talking about the extremely poor people, most of the time when we talk about poor, we are actually referring to the average. So most people are able to gamble cause they are playing with their spare cash. And it is the risk of losing their money that make gambling even more exciting than other hobbies/activities.

In other hobbies you also spend money to be entertain and I think it is just the same in gambling if you are doing it responsibly because as human we have different interest and ways to entertain ourselves.
