Probably yes, as I gamble mainly for fun, so being rich wouldn't affect me that much. I might do it less though, as there isn't that much of a point gambling while rich. Also, if I was rich, I would probably want to hold onto my money.
It's a matter of, do you like being rich? And do you like to keep on being rich? If the answer is both yes, then avoid gambling at all times. Gambling can give you money SOMETIMES, but most of the time it takes them away. So better stay away from it, rich or not. But many in these forum are saying that a rich person would not have a problem in betting on gambling even if he loses because they are filthy rich, Well I think that they are delusional money are not forever and that will surely be all be gone soon if you continue to pursue the risk involve in gambling. We are talking here that it the rich gambles even with huge money at stake as long as he can afford to lose it would not affect their lives, gambling for them is just an entertainment. By the way, I am saying it base on my experience. Rich here man!, I'm in the house.  Woa, that is cool! like what i have been saying, the rich plays just to enjoy the thrill of gambling, not about winning the money. Also it can be a great time for people to hang out together to play and talk about it. You hit it right man, rich people do gambling responsibly that typical gamblers don't. They reach to that level of being rich because they are smart and responsible so they won't allow gambling to ruin their life and take all their wealth. For them, its just a pure entertainment and they get the excitement they want even though they lost a lot of money in our eyes but its just immaterial to them. but sadly to say this is not always the case, even rich people will lose their control. There is a lot of cases whereby the rich people losses all their possession over a table of gambling. There is even news reports on rich people suicide cause they lose everything in a week. But at least they are more matured than a typical gambler as they have a lot of money and they will protect it whatever it takes, for the typical gamblers they gamble with desperation, desperation to earn huge amount money with a little amount as starting bankroll. Even they are matured they are still experience loses and they can not still make a profit.. what do you hink why they are playing again back or daily because they want to recover all their loses.. also they are addicted.. |

You are right. No rich person could withstand for long time with gambling losses. Usually when you are rich you will go for higher bet amounts. So, the losses also will be huge. Both rich and normal gambler, will be thrown out from gambling after some period of gambling certainly. have you ask or try to find people with so much money and earn it only from gambling?i think people like that will continue playing gambling and yes as you said,they will put bigger bet amount when they have more money,its natural human instinct,they greedy and always want more and more. |

Yes even if you are a rich person but if you are losing everyday for sure you can't afford to lose every day. So better, to stop gambling when you are already rich, spare your time in other things and forget about gambling. Enjoy your riches and have happy moments with your love ones. You can be a lot happier even you don't gamble. |

I course I would still gamble at that moment I would not even worry about losing money. I would not go so far that I would go from rich to poor I would not let gambling take over my live.

Unless the money you will lose didn't came from your sweat , blood and effort and you won't even sorry and worried on losing it. And that's good words that you won't let gambling win over your life, if you will happen that when you are rich the chance of being rich will just be gone immediately. |

i think i still would continue to gamble if i were rich.
being rich doesn't change if i gamble or not, it can only change the amount of money i am gambling with and number of bets i make that is all.
yeah it would not change the person to stop gambling but if it gives a bad effect to you like to spend money in vain and so forth. it would be better if you avoid gambling mate. maybe it can make you better if you can get out of gambling |

A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.
The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.
I doubt anyone who has made 50 million dollar in their life would waste any significant amount in gambling. They would rather open a casino and make money upon money. |

Well if you are rich still possibilities of being a bankrupt rich person is always if you will not take care of your riches, because of gambling in no time all of it will lose.
