People shouldn't be too negative about the price, you know with 2btc you can more than double the price on Yobit......

Problem is maybe many aren't really buying and selling just holding for the long term?

maybe waiting to see what will happen with the new UI

You guys obviously can have your opinion but you need to expand your thinking on this...

Why is any crypto besides btc valued the way they are?  Possible future growth.....thats it.  Not one of these coins should be valued at where they are if you use "current value in the marketplace"  for one early investors got about 20% extra in SS and in steam gift cards. (True value), once the payments start rolling in, there is value there.  You guys are arguing based on the coins value at $0.  There is also the possibility for coin price growth, yes i didnt say definate or this is going to make anyone rich based on the growth of gbt price, but there is the "possibility" based on future growth potential.  If you buy gbt at 717 sats and sit on it for a couple of months, get a payout (even if its only $1) and then you sell your gbt for 717 sats, you make a profit, and thats not even counting if you stake your coin during that time.  Not many cryptos you can buy and sell at the same price and make a profit (even if it is small).

Now you talk about mid-high crypto casino/sportsbooks make hundreds of btc a day, i dont know what they made in the first month but im sure it isnt the same level as they are at now.  And how can you say advertising wont bring in more people??? How many bitcoin sites can you go to without seeing an advertisement for a casino/dice game/sportsbook, etc.   Why do you think they still pay for advertising if it doesnt bring people in?

Either way i respect your decision as everyone has to measure their own risk tolerance.  Hope to see you betting one day on the site and buy some gbt from the exchanges.

You missed the point. Yes, you buy partially based on future growth, and when you do that you buy in cheap. You do not buy in at a 3k BTC valuation for a project with a ceiling of MAYBE 5k BTC. Thats assuming best case scenario and that GBT truly takes off. Thats a dumb buy. The chances are much, much higher that investors will take a giant loss.

I actually own one of those mid-high volume platforms. No one in our industry is making hundreds of BTC per day. My site does barebones advertising and we did more volume in our first day then what GBT has accomplished in a couple months.

Again, I like the idea of GBT, its valuation is just ridiculous.

You do realize, that valuation of a coin and valuation of a company are 2 entirely different things? GBT is a CRYPTO CURRENCY, that has some backing from a company, consider it A BONUS. It's not a stock, it's not a share, it's just a coin with a fixed supply, and most of it was sold for a $100k. If SUPPLY were to dry up and if there is DEMAND - the price will rise. It's as simple as that.
All this theoretical valuation at 3-5k btc is just that, THEORETICAL. It's not like devs are keeping 90% of coins for themselves to dump after a price rise(although, some cryptos did that and it even worked for them somehow).

Jeez, I have no idea how you people are still taking a part in those crypto markets if you can't even understand such a simple thing. Do you even trade any crypto, or just hang out here to push your site?

Do you seriosly think that all those cryptos that are traded out there are fairly evaluated based on some future dividends? Or do you think that there is such a big demand for them from anybody beside traders, looking to buy low and sell high?

It's all just a speculation on the future of dev teams and projects that are associated with them.

Will the merchandise have to be bought exclusively using GBT, or just as an option, together with USD?
DailyModo, mind leaving a comment on this? What is the plan? This greatly influences the future value of the coin.
Yes, merchandise will be purchasable with GBT some examples of merchandise we may have in the future such as t-Shirts, Sweaters, Steam Gift Cards, etc. We are open to ideas for merchandise and when we’re at this stage in our product we’ll be polling the community about what their preferences are in this regards Smiley

That was not really my question. You said that in the ANN post already. What I am interested in is, will the merchandise be purchasable with other payment methods as well, such as CC or Paypal?

I completely agree. That's why I am trying to figure out what the future demand may be, but you guys are trying to avoid clearly answering that question it seems?!

That is a question for DailyModo, maybe he misunderstood.

I guess I should change my avatar to something else...

Fools and their money. The main purpose of the coin was to represent profit share of gamebet, and that is the value behind the coin. Speculation is not value. I'm not sure why you are saying the valuation is theoretical when they sold a 10% stake for nearly 300 BTC total, thats simple math.

Please show me where I have pushed my site, as I have stated before I am not in the sports/e-gaming betting industry and have no vested interest in the success/failure of GG.

Regarding your comment on cryptos being fairly evaluated... I think they are overvalued if anything. 99% of cryptos out there are worth absolutely nothing, people trade based on speculation (read: gambling). There are a ~dozen or so coins out there that have any true future potential.

I'm done posting in this section.. I'll check back in a few months Wink

OMG what happened to the buyers market on Yobit ... it's virtually gone?!  Huh

The largest bid is now 0.01 BTC @ 539 SAT.

Fools that make money  Grin How stupid of us.
As I said, it's 10% of profits, not 10% of coins, not even a 10% of the company. Price of 100 sats, for instance, would allow a single person with 21 btc to buy the entire supply of coin. But it ain't gonna happen, because there are more people on the market, and the price will be driven up. It's that Supply/Demand thingie you keep trying to ignore.
If we have 10 apples and 90 oranges in the stack, it doesn't matter that there are 100 fruits in total, there are still only 10 apples to satisfy the entire demand for an apple on the market. You can try to convince people that oranges and apples aren't too different, that there are actually 100 fruits, but people that want to buy apples will still face a shortage of those, hence driving the price of an apple higher.
Anyway, the point is, there is no "fair" price for something, there is only the market price. You either buy now, or wait, if you think that it will go lower. But markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent.
We will see how this works out in the coming months.

You cant just edit post u wrote when somebody replay to it, it is not correct way to make forum discussion.
I could post a new one every time I want to add something, but it won't be any better.
Anyhow, don't be so stuck up. It would be problematic if there was a discussion going on and I would suddenly change my replies significantly in the middle of it, after the answer of the other side. That's where I draw the line.
In this case, I don't see any harm.

If you buy at 600 sats whats the motivation to sell?

When you can for a small price own what will likely be a very profitable company?

people need to understand some of us are buying cheap with the intention to hold for a few years to see how well this company does. Its not like we are going to sell again for a even a 100% or 200% rise....I don't expect much from crypto traders but at least recognise the cheap this coin is the better it is for buyers long term. I can't stand the idea that cause its down a few btc then the coin is crap....its actually the opposite..
