On March 15th I sent in 2 BTC to the Lisk ICO and my online wallet at login.lisk.io was showing that I had 31731 LISK. I check my wallet today and the balance shows as zero. I try to login to chat.lisk.io to ask about it and it says my password is incorrect (even though I have saved it in a password manager and had used it previously to login). When I try have the password reset I never get the email. I try to create a new chat login account with another email and still don't get any email from Lisk.io; even checked the spam folder.

Right now I feel like Lisk was a scam. My Lisk address is: 16504865948547734056L
and my public key is c16f78e980e90eaab387202b8a64f0b8f3338ab8b92b4493b74db2c08d25df69

I don't even see them in the block explorer tool: explore.lisk.io.

Since I can't seem to get into chat, I have no option but to post for help here. I would appreciate it if a Lisk admin could help me out with this.

Which Login do you mean? This one:
https://ico.lisk.io/users/sign_in

Or this one:
https://login.lisk.io/
?

Check the first one and see whether your coins are showing. If yes, everything is fine.

If you are refering to the second one: you have no Lisk there because it hasn't been distributed yet. It is just up to let you check whether or not your passphrases work.
And also, if you hack in any password, it will still let you in, creating a new account. So, you need to compare the shown adress with the one your passphrase is associated with to guarantee that it is correct.

And also, I think it would have been the right step to ask this question in the ANN thread, instead of throwin accusations around:

I was trying the second link which is now very prominent. I didn't know the first link was still available. I see it now after looking under the ICO area (which I would have never thought to do since the ICO is over). When I login at the first link I do see my exchange. What a relief.

OK, maybe I over reacted in my panic of seeing a zero balance, but it would really help if a link to the first login could be provided from the main lisk.io page.

even if it is, even if it is complete vaporware, with zero users the market cap could get to 1B+ with the right marketing team, advertising, pumping, hyping, spamming, and FUDing of all competitors.

Yeh, you over reacted. I made the same mistake logging in the wrong location. I am not sure but i think the second link is the dapp store, not sure how it will work.

I have an advice for you though. Download your private keys if you have not on the ICO page. If anything happens to the website, some hacking, etc you still own the keys  Wink

Whether on not LISK is a scam remains to be seen. It's initial distribution was perhaps one of the best of any ICO on here.

I do not like there is no POW stage. Also I liked that NEM put usernames up to demonstrate who invested. They could have done that.

Overall POW is better if done correctly.

You however are a known scammer as I can prove by pasting your post thread histroy here.

You were one of the main supporters of DARKCOIN/DASHcoin

Defending it's captive instamine and defending it's reduction of the minting by 75%.

You simply said everyone was just butthurt who didn't get to instamine and be holding coins whilst they were magnified to 4x their original % of total minting.

You have absolutely no grounds here to lecture on scams. Your opinion has been shown without doubt to be tainted by financial gain only with no objectivity present at all. You are both a scammer and pumper. This is without doubt.

POW is far superior is a fair release protocol is followed with NO reduction of the previously specified minting by 75% - these make a mockery of the POW method of distribution.

Bring back POW with fair release protocol. End of initial distribution and immediate price manipulation scams.

If it is going full ICO now this board then they should advertise and give a pow period too.

They should at least provide those links on their page because I myself will consider them scam if they don't. This is somehow deceiving users if one don't have the courage to ask like p2p did, I wouldn't know such pages exist. Pow it is!

I don't believe 31,731 LISK = 2 BTC either. but OP probably transferred some his LiSK elsewhere and left taht certain amount for whatever his reason. once they pump it right, 31,731 would be a good amount.

you can not say scam - but its clearly "overfunded"... and for the fact its only a clone of a already existing software - to much money was invested. But this is the gamble which "investors" always risk...

Aren't you the shameless cunt around here. You XC and Blocknet scam supporting cocksucker. Get some self respect before spouting off your own web of self serving lies around here. You are one of the biggest proponents of all scamcoins over time around here.

LISK is nothing but a pump and dump scam like every single ICO out there. By pointing your fingers at me, you are NEVER going to get around that fact.

I'm sorry but swearing will get you nowhere.

Lisk being a pump or dump - the jury is out. Predictions or anything else from a known scammer as yourself can not be taken seriously. Infact if you are calling it a scam then it is probably going to work out well.

You screaming your usual mindless profanity protecting the darkcoin scam even though it was explained to you millions of times - that is a fact.

Here let me look up the thread for you and post it here....just wait a moment.

You fought for weeks to defend a scam even after having the facts shown to you over and over again.

There is no doubt you are a pumper and scammer.

The evidence is on this link.....

defending dash scam over and over. Says the captive instamine and subsequent slashing to magnify instamine is all totally fine.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=999886.0

you were one of the 3 main dash pumpers and protectors as the scam unfolded.

I can't take you seriously.
I invested in xc and blocknet as I have over 200coins. I don't see any threads with me on them fighting for their honour when they are a proven scam like dash. To my knowledge their only scam till now is vanishing from the board and selling out xc for block. I have actually brought it up a few times that it seems like its in bad taste to abandon the project.

You should change your user name. It will forever be notorious with darkcoin pumping and scamming.

Do you still tell me darkcoin is not a scam and everyone else that was not in on the premine was just butthurt?

Now you are fighting for honesty on this board? haha what happened? I mean I suspected you sold your account to someone else. However the childish swearing and profanity is your trademark. You are funny slapper.

31,731 LISK for 2 BTC?

Too lazy to do the math. Don't forget that it might have been 31,731 on the day he bought in, but decreased afterwards

I agree that the first adress should be more visible in the ANN thread. I' gonna head over there and ask for it

EDIT: Damn, second page for this thing…
