The best way to teach someone about new thing is giving him the chance to try . so the first step is to do a small giveaway to that person and to teach him the basic of the wallet \security ..etc
Then you might tell him how to spend that a mount of bitcoin in payment or trading.
I did it before with someone nowadays he is more addict than me.

That could work. In my case everything is free. A friend told me about faucet first. Started with that option or earning then tried to widen it more asking my friend how to get more. I think it will be all about the person on how he will be willing to do it and pursue more.
Yes faucet are gateway for many people here including myself. You will get start using and adopting with bitcoin system when you obtain some for free. Then you will get more interest to learn how it works.

Yes faucets are best for newbies who wants to learn about bitcoin or who wants to start earning bitcoin, as once you start earning it for free you will be more keen to earn more and try to find different ways to earn it.

A cool thing to do is to tell about the advantages between banks and blockchain. About the bordless thing. Anything that could make the unknown (and sometime untrust) world close to the normal (ordinary) people. It's hard, but at least there are few books to help in this "mission".

Mate if they are not tech friendly then it will complicate them by teaching about blockchain, as they are very new to it so we need to keep it simple at the primary stage, if they find it simple then will surely try it.

i agree. in my experience a lot of people will stop listening if you start talking about technical stuff no matter what you are talking about (bitcoin or anything else) when it gets to technical stuff you will bore the hell out of them.

There are some youtube videos that can explain the nature and basics of bitcoin to start with. You can also go to forums and blogs to gain more knowledge about bitcoin, bitcoin mining, cryptocurrency trading, etc.
If you're planning to teach bitcoin to children, I am afraid but it will be hard. Maybe some teacher right there can make a way to explain what bitcoin is

It will be really helpful if your "student" know english to learn about bitcoin here. If not, better try to find another way to teach. I know that here existing different topics on different languages but i am not recommend it.

Just tell them that they can earn money from it and I bet they will start to know bitcoin on their own, and they will try to collect as many information related to bitcoin.

I tried to teach someone to learn tbicoin lately and what i'm planing to do is to buy a video tutorial in lynda.con which is "up and running with bitcoin". I wanna teach him to simply earn by joining forum posting at first then gradually helping him to learn altcoin trading. I'm not sure how this will work but i get to download this video tutorial through torrent site Smiley

This is what I am also trying to make. Or some pictures or screenshots that can take the teaching to a higher level. Talk wont do much sometimes. Proofs are needed to strongly make the person get a spark in making him/her a bitcoin user or investor.
Videos are much better way than by talking. Because most of the people are getting bored when  listening to other people unless they find it is fruitful to them. But initially we need to convince the new people at least to pay some concentrations. So, pictures or videos will do better.

Just try to teach them once and if they are interested they will start working on it, don't waste your precious time as time is more important, if they don't get into it then its their bad luck.

The best way to teach someone about Bitcoin is to actually decide what they know first and foremost. From there, you actually can create the learning curve and overall process for them. It's always important to make sure you SIMPLIFY explanations as to what it is. The very first time I was explained Bitcoin, the person said, and I quote "It's a dynamic range of code occupied to transfer monetary value from one unit to the next" and I had to ask him to dumb it down a bit. He didn't even tell me HOW that's possible of WHY.

Slow down. That's my advice.

People who are aware about latest technology will start working on it straightaway, the only thing they need is initial guidance and if you provide them that then they will start using it for sure.

before you teach someone about bitcoin, you must know his hobby, if he like writing, you can introducing to earning bitcoin from write on blog/web, etc.

i think it's depend about his hoby.
right, even if you had to explain as clearly as possible about bitcoin, but if it's not a hobby then he will not be interested. may be the first step you may need to know his hobbies, and after that his hobby concerned with money and business, then you might be able to explain to her bitcoin
it sounds good. but certainly there is a hobby that has no correlation with bitcoin ? how do you want to tell about bitcoin. if someone has a hobby of fishing or swimming, etc?
of course you can not associate it with bitcoin right? What do you think ?
