I think videos should be simple focusing on the basic things of bitcoin if videos are too technical then I think it will complicate them and also confuse them.

Only showing the video will not help, they should be taught practically and with basic things, if things are kept simple  that would be much easy for them to understand.

Its hard for newbie to indulge so early in bitcointalk same as i in my newbie days i cant locate what i find i kinda lost when browsing in this furom at first but to teach someone to learn bitcoin is try to introduce him some fb crypto related group where he can read the thoughs and the link shared by people in that group and also youtube might be helpfull

I don't think simply giving bitcoin to someone to spend will attract him to use bitcoin, as first he should know how to earn it and if he finds it attractive then he will surely start using it.

Yes, i remember that i also learn about bitcoin in YouTube, most of the videos are here, they really help us in teaching, otherwise in bitcointalk, we can get every information about bitcoins.

Do that to me and I might ignore it. There are people who send videos that have some virus in it. Better to be there with him or her physically then teach him personally on how it is. Show the video yourself and explain some.

Right, people are now wiser. We do not just click links on emails. Most of those links have malwares attached that could compromise your unit. It is better if you could talk to the person or teach him personally. So that all questions could be answered immediately. I think this is a better approach.

Its better to teach them actual not only chat.. because its a lots of different between online chat and actual..
I tried it the chat its not working so i meet my friend and teach him and now he learn whats is bitcoin and how to collect it..

it is good if the first time they are shown about bitcoin via video animation, This is good as well when you tell them, that at least he had a little understood after seeing the video.

"Mastering Bitcoin" by Andreas M. Antonopoulos .This is an excellent book which I would recommend for every bitcoiner, especially if you would like to know how bitcoin works "under the hood". Technical details have been explained in a great degree of detail in a style that is easy to understand. Even for those who are uninterested in the technical side of bitcoin, it is an excellent introduction to the subject.

Apparently though, only a few care about the technicalities of bitcoin, how bitcoin works, how the bitcoin wallet works, what is a node, what is a block, etc. And also, I don't think newbies will try and take time to read that book. Maybe some of them might, but the majority won't.

Most users are only interested in earning money out of bitcoin. You have to teach them how to make money online not how the technicalities of it work. They don't care about what's happening when there's a transaction when they receive/send money to/from their wallet, they just want they wallet to be secure.
