I did not come 11000000 tips translated into bter. I wrote to them asking to compensate for the lost coin , in case of failure or ignore , I will not use the Exchange Bter. I advise all those who lost their coins to do the same .

Did your coins ever show up at BTER?
I sent a similar amount about the time of your post and today all my coins showed up at BTER plus the coins I sent from BTER all registered in my tips wallet.

Close your wallet, unpack the zip archive, and put the contents in your fedoracoin data folder.
On Linux/BSD this is ~/.fedoracoin/, in Windows it is probably somewhere under your users appdata directory. You can probably find that folder by searching for "wallet.dat" and if it shows up in folder named "fedoracoin", put the contents of the zip file there and start the wallet.

Can somebody running the windows client eventually post the data directory for fedoracoin in Windows?

normally to get to wallet data in windows 7 what i have to do is


windows start button
search %appdata%
a file called roaming will show
click it and my wallet data is there normally


C:\Users\pc\AppData\Roaming
where C: is your drive name replace accordingly

from a command prompt just type

explorer %appdata%

i will upload my blockchain today if the linux blockchain isnt working. But i tryed this for myself with psychodad's bootstrap i uploaded to the website and it was working for me.

Thank you for your offer, but my blockchain upload is ready soon. I have stopped the wallet about 10:00 AM forum time, so you wont have to download many other blocks.

Simply unpack all the content of the zipfile into your %appdata%\Fedoracoin\ folder.
Please backup your wallet.dat before!!! So if anything is going wrong it isn't bad.

I have went to http://www.fedoracoin.xyz/ and found that there are only two exchanges listed so far. But When I go to the exchanges they do not show any support for Fedora Coin (TIPS). Is there a working exchange currently?
