Unfortunately the timescale that Bit365 had laid out in his PM passed several days ago and he has gone back to not responding to my messages.

I can only assume that this is yet another delaying tactic while he collects bets and investments from those who haven't done their due diligence or who fail to find this thread before sending him any coins.

Disappointing

That is what I think as well.  The whole idea of these "lost wallets" is not very convincing.  Some more transparency about how exactly these coins were lost and what exactly is being done that takes this time is in order (as are more frequent updates)

With that said, blind accusations don't really accomplish much so I will wait patiently like I have been for the past 7 weeks for my bitcoins.  I will be much more active if I haven't received my investment by the deadline Bit365 gave me.  I hope it doesn't come to that

I certainly understand your frustration, wasubii.  However, as I tried to point out in an earlier post, I don't think it makes much sense for bit365 to stall in the hope of raking in enough money to pay people off.  He's only taking it a little over 1 BTC per day in bets now, even at the peak of the (American) football betting season.  Even if his average profit were close to the 6% it has hovered around historically, this isn't going to pay off even one of his big investors for months.  On top of that, the book has been losing money of late, at least if you believe the posted bets and numbers.  Surely he is aware of all of this.

This obviously doesn't make it any more excusable that bit365 is hiding.  I tend to believe his story about lost cold-storage bitcoins.  My best guess is that his brief optimism that the remaining lost wallets could be recovered hasn't panned out.

In any case, his lack of communication and lack of transparency about the details of the problem remains unacceptable.  He has mis-managed the PR campaign since the beginning of the problem and has exacerbated the damage to the website's reputation.  If he pays everyone back tomorrow, he will now have an uphill battle to rebuild his image. Every day that goes by just makes it a little bit worse. Seriously, bit, what do you hope to gain from your silence?

Thanks for letting us all know that bit365 failed to meet his deadline with you, wasubii.  It's not encouraging, but it is an important bit of news.

.  I cashed out my successful(!!!) 53btc investment on November 18th as the rise in btc represented a larger monetary risk than I was willing to take.  I emailed Bit365 on November 20th and asked to expedite my cashout.  He responded the next day saying he was experiencing investment grading issues and it would be resolved "within the next day or two".  Needless to say I have still not received any amount of my investment back.

Hi All,

Bit365 responded and has given me a timeframe for payout.  I will let you all know when I receive any amount.
its too much for me you lost 53 btc and still nothing back now I sure end of this site mean now no payments for any one

We are in slightly different situations. You placed three BTC0.23 bets on long odds and came out on top with a lucky pick and a supposed payout of BTC9. You came to an arrangement with Bit365 whereby one bet was cancelled, returning you BTC0.23 and the other two winning bets were turned into a 'long term investment' of BTC6.

You risked BTC0.69 and you got back BTC0.23 and the promise of more later - but i imagine if you try to withdraw your new investment you will find it at the back of the queue, seeing as you have already bargained your position.

I on the other hand 'invested' in this website a total of BTC8. I wasn't looking to put my money on a straight up long odds gamble like you were - i was looking for a return on my coins with what was promised to be the ability to withdraw my investment at any time. Perhaps the book would have performed badly and we would have lost a few percent, but i was keeping a close eye on it and was ready to pull the trigger and have my investment returned to me. Fat lot of luck with that.

So congrats on getting your BTC0.23 back. That really goes a long way to put at rest the minds of the guys who are waiting on payouts of BTC50 or BTC25 or BTC8!

Yeah, my fault for not really going through the thread before placing the bet but maybe they'll come through.

I have contracted a bitcointalk member to help me obtain documents about bit365.

I have spent 0.2 BTC. I am accepting donations. Here is a record of the transaction.

https://blockchain.info/tx/157636dfe5e2c803d7993681cb0da9821d8c974bb16c0f1d0d8dcb60d7fb7752

Proof I control this:

http://bitcoinsports.eu/bet/12fb9?destination=bet-slip

I am accepting donations at this address or at the previously posted address: 1Bcnt4thpoN4an4tUbScZSyTgyvDMyjeNq

Caveats are: 1. You must be provably owed bitcoin to obtain information. 2. It must be on or after Feb 1st as the agreement stands between myself and bit365. 3. Information regarding his home or office address, as it may lead to physical confrontation, is likely to be throttled, if obtained. In other words, I haven't decided how or if I can give that information out yet. I'd have to have crazy assurance that no harm will come to him or his family.

I figured that I would update my situation.  I am owed 30 btc http://www.bitcoinsports.eu/inv/24516.  I was quoted 2 weeks about a week ago, but I need the btc now.  I offered to settle for 50% if it was paid to me promptly. Hopefully that money could be used to help others get paid out.  Bit365 has not responded.

Have you obtained the identity of Bit365, but have not tied it to his physical address? I read your previous posts and you stated you are working everyday to obtain his identity. Thank you, I am owed over 3 BTC, a small amount compared to some investments.

People just want payment as promised.  Nothing else needs to be done.  If Bit365 is interested in making things right, just pay amounts outstanding in full now.  No excuses or investigation are necessary.  The only reason anyone would want his identification would be to threaten him into making good on broken promises.  Am I missing something here?

Yeah, you are missing something...he doesn't owe people a candy bar and a bag of chips, his behavior is criminal at the least. He owes thousands and thousands of dollars. An investigation is necessary. End of story

You are owed 8.2 BTC!!! And you seem to lack concern about his identity!?

Fellas, I gotta drop out. I lost my job last Wednesday and have to worry about making a living. I have no more time. Two people are helping you get documents on Bit365, when they message me, I will forward them to you, but I got to now focus on car insurance and rent!!!!

Welcome to the United Snakes! Land of the Thief! Home of the Slave!!!

So sorry, from now on accepting donations to match my 0.2 btc (addresses posted already), but moving on from daily trying to find this guy.

I went all over the world on this fucker. Serbia. Santa Rosa, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Scottsdale, AZ, Ireland... Spekulatius is a German cookie!!!

Like in the mob movies with the whiteboard and three non-photographs with '?' on them...

You guys are on your own, so sorry, I have to do other stuff for my survival.
