Hotmetal... the 480 thread is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1584617.msg15910357#msg15910357

scroll all the way down -- all the links to 480 mods are there.

I personally use the "480lowpowerOK" one for all my 480s with great results, saves power, not too hot and fast enough.

Thank you <3

It seems like 400MHz strap helps a bit, but it may be just placebo effect.

I have my nano's running with a custom timing which also improves quite a bit.

Due to the work that i have already put into all of this, i'm not going to release this for free.

I will however release other things in the future Smiley

Greetings!

The speed at 400Mhz is faster than 440 Mhz when mining the ZEC.

Is that 400mhz for the memory clock? What is the best undervolt setting?

I get 1270 sol/s using 670 watts at wall using 4x nanos
What are you guys getting?

That is quite good. I have 1900H with 1000W. With 920/380MHz for core and memory. That is 6x nano.

Silly question guys but if you use a custom rom that has undervolt set to lets say -125mv
Lets say you try undervolt that card with custom rom using trixx to -72.... what happens then? Or should we not attemt any other undervolt? Also what is the best undervoltung software? I can only get -72mv using trixx on stock bios

that will be -200 mV effectively. I use the MSI afterburner, it is better than trixx.

Iv found 900 mhz gpu clock and 400 mhz memory clock to be the best setting for the nano. I can only undeevolt -72mv using trixx 3.0 but is there any other program i can use to undervolt further? Or do i gave to make custom bios? If so how to i go about that? Thank you

Hey, sorry for not being very active in my own thread here..

You can just use afterburner (go to settings and unlock those voltages "you'll need to restart though").
After that, you'll be able to go to -100mV (which is also the most stable setting).

Good luck! Smiley

What speed and wattage are you getting with the new mod?

How much would it cost for the mod?

I should do some new tests as i have made new improvements regarding custom timings.

I will, as soon as i find some time :p

400 MHz timing (or even custom timings if you can do it) in conjunction with 500 MHz memory frequency plus the lowest possible core voltage that allows you to run 900MHz core clock - this is sweet spot for fiji. I confirm that.
