CHANGE OF BTC WITHDRAWAL FEEhttps://www.livecoin.net/news/view/363?lang=enDear clients, due to numerous amount of requests to increase fee for outcoming BTC transactions to avoid long confirmation time, we compelled to set withdrawal fee for BTC transactions at 0.001 BTC. The aggregate size of BTC transactions waiting to be confirmed is reached its climax, hence recommended (by network) fee is increased too. So, according to your requests and BTC network recommendations we increased withdrawal fee. From now on your transactions must be comfirmed quite fast.
Unfortunatelly we can't set fixed fee per transaction in a new version of BTC node, we can only set price per byte. We want to answer in advance for the questions like that one - "Why you charged me for 0.001 BTC, while actually have paid for my transaction only 0.0006 BTC according to blockchain?". This happens when your transaction's weight is low and node uses less fee accordingly. And viceversa, when transaction's weight is high, node uses fee higher then 0.001 BTC. We apply an average fee for clients, because there is no technical capability to count fee for each transaction separately and we can't apply different fee for each transaction.
We're working on feature which will allow to decrease fee for outcoming BTC transactions without loosing in speed. But implementation process will take several weeks. Thanks for patience and understanding.
