Newbie here... I used one of my btc addresses to claim some lumens. This address has about half my total btc. I have the other half on another address in my Electrum btc wallet. Can I claim some lumens using this other address? I'm guessing they allow only one lumens claim per user, but I want to check. Thanks,

If you hold BTC in an exchange, we are supposed to contact exchange. Probably lumens already have been claimed and they need to distribute accordingly. No idea. I am on Polo and mods havent got any news yet regarding that.

The exchange will probably distribute it in ratio to btc balances in each account automatically.

I purchased some Lumens (STR) on Poloniex. I can't see how to transfer them from Poloniex to my Lumens account at stellar.org. Anyone know how to do this? Thx.

AFAIK, Polo still hasn't gotten to issuing Lumens even though it was mentioned on Stellar's website.

Gonna be quite a wait now.

I discovered the Centaurus Stellar wallet at Google Play. Are there any other wallets for Lumens aka Stellars? I'm using Android and Windows 10. Thx,

One of the Poloniex Trollbox mods yesterday said they'll soon post info re issuing Lumens. FWIW.

I got this resolved. The nice people at the galactictalk forum showed me how to do it. Nice forum. The Poloniex funds withdrawal UI/UX needs some work; not very intuitive.

Wouldn't giving away XLM make the price go further down? Unless they believe that the people will keep holding XLM, I think what they're trying to do will discourage the current investors from holding making it go down even more.

Knowing this will happen, does the Stellar Foundation care about the price of XLM?  Or is that not their priority right now? If it's not, what is their current priority?

Anybody claimed lumens on Poloniex, how do it?

I've asked Poloniex about it and they are participating in the giveaway, they just don't have the details yet. But pretty soon several million (I'm guessing) STR/XLM will be hitting Polo, going out to all the users who have BTC on their exchange. I believe BTC38 and Kraken are also participating. Not sure about Bittrex.
