This is 100% the end of bitcoin as we know it.  Good thing too.  This 'open source', 'no leadership', 'no organization' thing was always a load of bullshit.
Oh wow its again that time when bitcoin died, didnt it die just few months ago?
Why do people keep talking about this, bitcoin is not gonna die so soon ok.

Let dogs bark, we don't have to worry about it, as we know the potential of bitcoin, its growing at a moment and it will continue to grow in future too.

Yes I don't think bitcoin can die so easily, and when price falls and people think that bitcoin is dead, then they are just wasting their time in thinking that, as that is never gonna happen.

The bitcoin price is still higher than a year ago. It is live and well. The Core/Classic teams are working hard.

Yes and bitcoin is growing and getting more bigger and we will be seeing much higher price in next couple of months, and it can never die in future.

Actually, its not getting bigger at all.   It is staying exactly the same at 1MB per ten minutes.  It is impossible for it to grow from here as long as Blockstream are the owners.

For this time the price of bitcoin around 400 Dollars, and it is still in high number of value.
About if thr price of bitcoin decreased until 100 Dollars, i don't agree with you that it can say bitcoin is died. But that price also potentially growing up again if the user of bitcoin still interested with bitcoin.

Large groups of well paid, organized, funded professionals with clear objectives and good management - (like R3, hyperledger, ethereum, others) are sure making those Core programmers look like the silly little whiny bitches that they are.  Core is going NOWHERE and getting there pretty damn fast.  Meanwhile, very sophisticated advance is being done every day in other part of crypto/blockchain.

Isn't Core also "well paid, organized, funded professionals" via Blockstream  Huh

Segregated Witness is somewhere.

Those qualities set it apart from a regulated investment security.

Bitcoin can only be called dead if its price falls to 0, or else you cannot call it dead, if price falls down then it has a potential to rise again in future, and looking at present price I think bitcoin is alive.

Why would bitcoin be dead if its price is going upward? As bitcoin halving is getting near, people thinks that buying bitcoin today is one of good investment for the future, so to sum it up, would mean - high demand - higher price - bitcoin is still alive and kicking. Not just because powerful altcoins are in circulation now means that bitcoin will be dead, don't forget that its the "mother".

I agree, bitcoin is not dead for sure and if the price falls back to $100, no it is not dead. It is still alive because it still has a value and it is still a big
amount that can start again to pump, as we all know when it falls back it will just soon rise higher again.

is it really really sure ?
i think its not dead yet, theres still so many people using btc. and some ppl still mining btc.
correct me if im wrong
Really, really sure.  It is dead.  Blockstream killed it.  Nearly everyone has left.  Most threads here are about whether Arabs and hookers can use bitcoin.  It used to be that very serious topics were done here.  Then Theymos started deleting everything.  Now we just have beggars and idiots.

No, it is not died, if you search carefully on this forum you will find that there are a lot of companies which have adopted bitcoin for their business and are regular with its usage on their companies and websites etc. and in the coming future you will find that almost every company has joined that currency and at that time we will call it as global currency, at least at online world.

I don't know where these people are getting the news that bitcoin is already dead. If bitcoin is dead, then we all are not here anymore on this forum.
Maybe they just hate bitcoins because their alt coins can't even do the same like what bitcoin achieves.

Bitcoin is not that dead it is just stable for a long time and many people think also that they can earn more money with it and that is nice.
But the bad thing is that you have to wait now a longer time and that would be also bad if that happens not well.

We just have to wait and see for what will happen with Bitcoin and that is the problem.

As long as the exchanges are trading Bitcoin and the market price hasn't plummet to the bottom Bitcoin is alive. People have tried to shake the price by releasing negative news and outright shilling for other alt coins but Bitcoin is still here and will be for a long time unless something disastrous happens like Satoshi selling the 1 million coins that will inevitably crash the market but that's highly unlikely. Long live Bitcoin  Wink

Why did the bitcoin price drop to $430? Is there any reason for that? It is very concerning. I though $440 is the bottom.

Bitcoin is not dead around this time and that is because people are saying that Bitcoin is dead because they think that it will not rise anymore because it was stable for a long time.
But that is bad of the people because they need to have some patience to wait for a better value.

Coinbase is gonna trade Ethereum is my guess.

Not sure what to think about ethereum after 3 years of press FUD telling people BTC is 'evil' there may be a FOMO movement to Ethereum ...because they 'can't

buy that 'evil btc' they have been hearing about Sad

Thus at 445 BTC and 14 buck ethereum....depending on how many such folk 'want' to get into crypto but don't want to get into BTC ...we could be looking at $50
buck ethereum...I guess it depends on how much of the FUD on btc is taken as the 'truth' ;(

Then again I'm in the USA and Donald Trump is the Republican Presidential Nominee...so given that I would have given better odds of Elvis being kidnapped by Roswell
Aliens 10 months ago then Donald Trump being the Republican Presidential Nominee....I am open to ANYTHING as a possibility in crypto Sad

(I suppose I should really start my "Liberal Prepper Group/Bunker" and practice my Midwestern USA accent ..so if need be I can flee to Canada as an illegal and 'pass as a native'
as it were......'take off' ay....needs work ) Sad

There is no really hard bottom for bitcoin price. Bitcoin could go as low as $350-$400 tomorrow and it still be rather normal fluctuation.
People are overreacting because we had some really long time of price stability and any price change higher than -+$30 is scaring them.

I think it is fair when the price is always stable and be down. you need not worry about it. Markdown is something natural. let alone long enough bitcoin has not dropped below $440.
better to be patient and see what will happen after this Cheesy
