Urgh.... another BTC is ded thread, ignoring the fact it's never died I am annoyed at myself now because this thread will forever come up in my new replies tab. Can't help, but the fact is price is below $600 now but still its a good price to hold, and with that price we cannot say that bitcoin is dead, when it will to zero level it can be called as a dead. How can it be dead when it was at the $420 mark last month or two, Now the price in increasing. Stabilizing at $660, is not the end of it. It may even breach 700 again or even reach 800 at the end of the month as other predicts. Bitcoin is dead is just pure speculation without any basis whatsoever. Bitcoin cannot be dead for sure. For the price, it is not stable at 660$ as the current increase is due to halving. I think bitcoin price will remain stable in the range of 400 to 500$ range after halving and it is a good price. I am more confident. The price will be between $600 and $700 in the few months after the reward halving. It is better if the price is going to be stable at the price of $650 - $700. And if it reaches $700 it is really a good start at all before the end of the year. So it means that bitcoin is not going to be dead instead it is keep on rising. Bitcoin will never be dead, and we should not worry about the small fluctuations in price, if it falls today then it will definitely rise in coming years.

One day you are going to wake up and the bitcoin will be hacked. The end. The fucking end. That is how it will go. I think its impossible right now because here in my country many company are adopting bitcoin and i think in few months we are now accepting bitcoin as payment in some stores locally because we can pay monthly bills here using bitcoin without hassle and i think the next is stores like 7/11 so bitcoin will never die..

Large groups of well paid, organized, funded professionals with clear objectives and good management - (like R3, hyperledger, ethereum, others) are sure making those Core programmers look like the silly little whiny bitches that they are. Core is going NOWHERE and getting there pretty damn fast. Meanwhile, very sophisticated advance is being done every day in other part of crypto/blockchain.
This is 100% the end of bitcoin as we know it. Good thing too. This 'open source', 'no leadership', 'no organization' thing was always a load of bullshit.
Oh, come on. How many more times are people going to say btc is dead? It is not dead and I don't think it will be in the near future

No, it's not dead. It won't be in the next few years. We might see it dead in approx. 10 years though, because new technologies appearing could mean Bircoin's disappearance. Or a huge success of Bitcoin in the near future could mean the price going up a lot ($2k or so) and then just failing. Nobody knows though, I hope it will live for as long as possible.

Yes bitcoin is dead (again for almost 181th time or so).. Bitcoin will not die unless and until there is core community which has deep belief in it. I am not under estimating those organizations but I have more believe on bitcoin community and as far as good community is empowering bitcoin there will be no threat to its existence.

Bitcoin is now owned by Blockstream. You will soon have to pay your transaction fees directly to them as they take a far greater share on their liquid network leaving only chump change for the miners. Blockstream is just a scam to get the fees away from the miners. This is already killing bitcoin because Core is holding the blocksize back to create more need for their private network. Bitcoin is dead. Maxwell killed it.

But how about Bitcoin itself? Isn't it a new technology? For me, the rise of cryptocurrency is just quite ahead of time actually. I could even say that Satoshi himself came from the future. ( ) But anyways, for me your statement is way too far ahead.

Already many says that bitcoin ends.
But I think that peoples don't know cryptography, logic and technology along with what is bitcoin actually.
That's why people spread rumors.
Anyway Bitcoin is not just discovery its an invention and everything is predefined.
And as mentioned "This time for sure"
I think this time will never come.

Many thread and many people are saying that bitcoin will be dead but until now bitcoin still alive and responsive looks like bitoin is just like a cat that has 9 lives but bitcoin has unlimited life.. and i think those people that saying bitcoin will be die i think they are just desctructing the growth of bitcoin so that altcoin will replace it.. but honesty its impossible to replace bitcoin right now because its already succesful but the problem is most people are not still dont know what is bitcoin..

I always wonder what prompts these threads. Bitcoin hasn't even taken a characteristic 'giant plunge' in a while, and I would be remiss to go on record as the OP making a prediction that is obviously incorrect.
If a major government banned bitcoin, this would maybe be valid. Possibly even if the internet blew up. But it would take a lot to kill a concept that is decentralized for that exact reason.
