Bitcoins ain't going anywhere, new commers may lose most of there investment. But the bitcoin blockchain will still be there also in the years to come.

the open source platform and a decentralized business model may have some disadvantages for sure but remember gold which is a decentralized no controled asset so btc may be like that rather than a government backed currency like other you mentioned.

Large groups of well paid, organized, funded professionals with clear objectives and good management - (like R3, hyperledger, ethereum, others) are sure making those Core programmers look like the silly little whiny bitches that they are.  Core is going NOWHERE and getting there pretty damn fast.  Meanwhile, very sophisticated advance is being done every day in other part of crypto/blockchain.

This is 100% the end of bitcoin as we know it.  Good thing too.  This 'open source', 'no leadership', 'no organization' thing was always a load of bullshit.

You mean time to FOMO, right? Come on be realistic, forget about your FIAT thing...

There is no way for Bitcoins to die! It will always remain till we have electricity (that is to power up the Internet) That being said, there will be many new technologies that are more advanced and versatile than the Bitcoin blockchain. The recent downward trend in the cryptomarket is common to ALL cryptos, not only Bitcoins, I personally believe that this is a consolidation period and soon there will be an upward breakout, its only a matter oft time. We just need to hold and be patient. All the best guys!

People should just know that bitcoin is king and will continue to rule crypto. From how the market trends even goes, anytime bitcoin is down, almost all other coins go down and that is a clear indication that we must all support bitcoin if we want to see the various altcoins also succeed. I believe that bitcoin will never die and it will rule forever.

sorry but i can't believe the one that is causing FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt, usually evoked intentionally in order to put a competitor at a disadvantage) is you who is legendary with has more experience than us or rather this is a strategy. We all know that no one controls bitcoin and it won't just die because of a lot of people who beleives and are still investing in bitcoin.

"Why won't you die?"

That's what Josh Brown, money manager and CEO of Ritholtz Wealth Management, kept asking himself as he watched the price of bitcoin rise and rise.

After years of skepticism toward cryptocurrency, Brown finally relented, buying bitcoin for the first time in July. And yet, at the very moment prices were soaring, news about the number one cryptocurrency by market capitalization turned negative.

"People were saying [about the scaling debate], 'This is going to be the thing that really kills bitcoin.' But the price action was saying the opposite," Brown recalls.

And as he watched the cryptocurrency not only recover from, but rally after its scaling debate came to a head, he turned from bear to bull.

A frequent commentator on CNBC and mandatory reading for anyone who follows "Finance Twitter," Brown said that kind of scenario isn't just a one-off.

We might not be jubilant with the direction bitcoin developers are taking use. But it is safe to verbalize that bitcoin is even remotely proximate to dying.
It won't transpire, not with the  market cap we achieved. The only quandary of bitcoin for now is the solution to the block size scaling quandary.
This status of affairs is already magnetizing some solicitousness and it is toxic to even verbalize about it. Other than that we are fine as a community.

this opinion has happened so often that every time the price falls, I will never believe that bitcoin will die that easily, we all need not worry because bitcoin has a strong defense and bitcoin is the source of power of all coins in the crypto world.
This is really considered as a redundant statement by many people who will be prompted to think negativetly as the price of bitcoin is going down again and again. We saw this before and I don't think it's the end of it. As long as there are people who are using it, it will still live.

I think if chinese miners go out of business Bitcoin will definitely have a big problem, there's still no demand or real use for Bitcoin but the mining industry is huge, especially on China. After the halvening we will face a complex scenario, with both Bitcoin and Ethereum in deep trouble.

These bullshit post just do not have any effect on me anymore, I learned to ignore them. It is too late to stop Bitcoin, and cryptocurrencies, there are just too many people believe in it, and as long as we believe, it will remain, and get even stronger.

This type of people makes me hopeful. Because whenever most of people think that way "x is dead this time for sure" X rises to the moon. Yes buddy, bitcoin is dead and you must sell all you have. So I (or someone who sees future) can buy your bitcoin and wait for it rise and rise. Then you will come back to buy from us. Keep going that way Wink

As long as people will embrace bitcoin because of its advantages over its disadvantages bitcoin will strive and continue, people who are saying it is dead by now are those people who dont want the suggested updates and will still not coordinate because their ego cant stand it and when the project been deployed and successful they feel miserable thats why they are talking trash about bitcoin.

Nope, Bitcoin never dead and the current rice is not that much low compared to last year price. I can say that the price fluctuation currently Bitcoin going through is not bad, really it is bad considering the price but it can come back with a good price.

If Bitcoin is dead, then all the crypto market is dead like the altcoins also will be dead.
