yes, it is addicted to gambling, if you're not hooked you'd stop playing gambling as inferior to many. but there are also some people who just want to win and stop playing gambling

In my books gamble addiction is when you can't control yourself and the money you are losing for a prolonged period of time. If you have experienced the craving to play more after you have lost on occasion but you don't do this systematically it's not a big problem it's just normal emotions taking you over. However if you can't put a stop to that next time you gamble and the next you must take serious measures to curb your developing addiction.

If you are addicted to gambling than it is really hard to stop with gambling because you are addicted to it you cant stop and that is a huge problem, because you can be poor.

It should be done for fun and not recovery of your lost amounts, else you will never stop yourself from losing because everytime, even if you win something, you will get more greedy and bet more and lose in the end and bet again to recover...

I think human born as a greed creature and it's natural instinct when you're being born.
The only thing that can handle this problem is how mature can you face this problem. AFAIK, when we got grown, we can handle this problem since we are thinking more rasional and logical compare when teen face this addictive problem with emotion mostly !

yes you are right maturity can certainly help you think straight in most of your problem, and how to face all of it is up to you and if you really want to solve your problem with gambling addiction I think you will need a help from other people most certainly from you own family and relatives or love once.

Adrenaline rush also plays the part. Gambling advertisement and marketing is getting more scientific nowadays than just psychological. Everything that can add up to the excitement of gambling are factored in. True enough that even the lighting and the color and the feel of the surrounding plays a huge part.

That's so true! I've watched this episode in National Geographic about this and they quite made scientific explanations that help trigger the 'addiction' to the adrenaline that they feel when they are gambling. The lights, the sounds, the color, the staff, almost everything inside the casino is a factor to it.

Well yes a strong willed person will unlikely be addicted to gambling but in my opinion in a long term of always playing these games he/she will eventually become addicted to it but this kind of addiction is sometimes very rare.

Yeah you're absolutely right. Gambling should only be considered as an entertainment, or maybe a hobby if you have the right discipline for it, and not as a job. It's just sad that there are a lot of people who think that they can win back their money after losing so much into gambling.

yes i would agree with you, you're addicted to something,in this case gambling, if you want to play again and again, you can't stop think about it, you probably lose your money too

I have saw that people who only want to play to win once and after that they have planned to stop gambling, but in the search of that chance they spend all their lives and invest all their wealth in return nothing.
