I dont think you can call that addictive because people are not coming back to earn their money back the real addicts are coming back because the
game is in their head and the game makes them addicts not even the money anymore.

I know someone who earns just from gambling. And he earns more than others do because he has a good discipline in gambling. He said if you lose just laugh and play again tomorrow, and if you win withdraw it before you lose it again.  I think that is the right mindset when gambling don't be greedy when you win and be prepared to lose when you gamble.

Not all people treat gambling as a way to earn money. Some treat it only as a way to get more fun in life through excitement and challenge where we can usually get when playing gambling.

Exactly I agree with this not all people will play gambling for just making money. There are some people can play it for fun also. These people are not addicted to gambling, and their just plays this for their time pass or any other reason. Those who play for money they will be addicted to this gambling very quickly.

But only the duration, they are taking to get addicted to gambling may differ for those who are aiming for money from those who are gambling for entertainment. My theory is that everyone gets addicted to gambling sometime after he will try for the first time,i mean of course
not everybody addiction will be that much destructive,but i think that we all like to win big bets while gambling.

Yep, I'ts like those scams you see people handing leaflets that claim to make you rich and help your lover and whatever else. Funny thing is the guy running it isn't rich but says he can make you rich so people ignore logic as they blinded by the wealth just like with gambling they dont think of what will happen if they lose too much and get so caught up.

• obsessing over any type of gambling
• gambling to feel better about life
• failing to control your gambling
• avoiding work or other commitments to gamble
• neglecting bills and expenses and using the money for gambling
• selling possessions to gamble
• stealing money to gamble
• lying about your gambling habit
• feeling guilty after a gambling session
• taking bigger and bigger risks while gambling

If the person are experiencing those traits then yes he has gambling addiction and he must consult a specialist.
