It's both IMO. Ignorance is the other. A way to get around this is for the tech to get underneath the workings and never actually present itself. Makes the tech more 'consumer-friendly.'

We need Apple to do something with bitcoin. They always get rid of the techy stuff normal people don't care about and just make things simple.
But we all know that if Apple gets into BitCoin, those apple fan boys are going to think "Apple invented BitCoin"

Well yeah your right but if many people are using bitcoin a payment in the future we will see that even other people can use bitcoin in other way to pay for monthly bills or any useful with bitcoin.. because you don't need to go outside to paybills and you can pay monthly bills online just like here in my country we can buy electricity bill in online using bitcoin..

How many people understand how it works when you swipe your debit or credit card and pay for items? I don't. I just insert the card and enter the pin code and wallah the items are paid for. The complexity in finance is already there. THe only non-complex thing is actual cash in notes and coins. It's very simple to understand, and it works quite well. [it isn't broken]. Cash will only be broken when it is completely banned or becomes obsolete as blockchains take over. There is a reason why all the crypto is called "coin". Its because coins are easy to understand and it works.

Agreed, the user who trust as well have the clear understanding about bitcoin continues buying bitcoin. At the same user who use bitcoin but without clear understanding of bitcoin nature hesitate to make buy and tries to hold what they have.

Very right. It is almost the same with the fear of the unknown. Not trying it yet and scared that it might be a bad thing. That is actually what is happening. Some judged it way too early before even trying it.

even though there are some holders at the moment i think there are people who spend their bitcoin on daily basis no matter if the price is growing right now or not

i doubt that people are too stupid to use bitcoins to be honest, in my opinion they are only really careful about it and they are afraid that it will make them lose a lot of money

It's not just that people just don't like change (unless it's the coin kind).  Heck I can't get my Mom away from rotary phones not alone use a new kind of money for things. 

thats right.most people are not prone to a "change" . maybe they are okay with what they have i don't know. depends on  several personal reasons. But "Stupid" is not an argument . Stupid people will always exist and will continue to exist. it doesn't even have to do with the "stupid  " . Its more about getting used to it. Because i have to admit Its complicated in the beginning and if you dont have any close friend to explain it to you , you may find yourself having a hard time understanding all this.
