All the people aren't too stupid, you made it too generic. Some need more information about what is and how could change its monetary system. Others never heard anything about bitcoin. And some could be stupid or wrong and don't want to use it.

Lets face facts,people do not like change and its the biggest detriment to living a authentic life. Lot of people get stuck in a issue and they wear it for the rest of their lives.
You add the fact that most people read at or below a grade five level of reading comprehension and you start to see the roadblocks for bitcoin. You span out to a global sense and it gets more dire.
Just wait till the internet is available to everyone in the world,we will see how poorly educated the masses are.

People just using fiat because it works fine. But after they experience hyperinflation and get their fiat ballances worthless themselves, they may be inclined to use Bitcoin next time instead to dont have any fiat at risk anymore.

You can save wealth in gold longterm, but for everyday use you need Bitcoin instead - and with the same anti inflation protection like gold has!

I do not think that people are just too stupid to use the bitcoin, I think they are thinking its just too difficult or they do not know that it is at all.
Mostly likely globally it will be because of the point that people do not know it and do not know the advantages from the bitcoin itself.

Well that remembers me the internet on the first steps,no one know how to use it,nowadays is hard to survive without it.Bitcoin is facing the same problem,people dont know how to deal or work with bitcoin soo they ignore it,but consider who use it insanes ,blind people .The society that ignored bitcoin has already cryed to not be able to be part of bitcoin,we are small in number but we can do anything with bitcoin they can do with fiat.

well it is not that hard to just use it from time to time, you just need to know how bitcoin wallet works and you need to know how numbers actually work and thats it in my opinion

i doubt that people are too stupid to use it, in my opinion they might just not understand all the things how it actually works but theres no need to know that i think

I agree here as many don't take Bitcoins as a way to not pay taxes and its decentralization and ability to own the private keys of a wallet don't go well with the mass. They still prefer PayPal/Cards over Bitcoins as many websites/brands only make use of these payment methods. Also, there are way too many negatives written by media about bitcoins that people fear that it can be illegal to use this currency which is a untrue. It's just that crypto currency is not a convenient payment method for many and it's not easy to buy bitcoins online as well.

If I'm the average Joe on the street and my paycheck is in dollars and things are priced in dollars, why go out of my way to buy bitcoin just to spend it on things that I could just as easily buy with dollars?

If salaried people are given the option to choose bitcoins as a part-payment option (just like I get the option of choosing Sodexo coupons as it's tax free), people would choose bitcoins in that case like people in my office do. It's not about being stupid here but it's that people who might be interested in investments as well don't find it easy to buy bitcoins and others just don't care.

Your situation sounds rare.  Most people don't get paid in bitcoin and I'm not sure most people would choose to.  The value of your paycheck could drop 20% overnight.

Yeah totally depends on the value of bitcoin if price is high you earn more and if price drops then only god can help you to survive.

i think is something great to use bitcoin for me bitcoin open for me the door for shopping online and it help me learn how to trade to gain skills i will do anything and i don't think the one who use bitcoin is stupid just make a close look to the price of btc and you will know the succes of it.

i was using paypal for paying things online, everything i paid on internet i used paypal then some of my friends recommended me to try bitcoin, and i was suprising it's very cheap, simple, you don't need to verivicate your account,of course no one can't limit or froze your money,withdrawable to fiat 24 hours/ 7 days ,so right now i only use bitcoin, never using other payment processor aymore
the point is when peoples get in to the bitcoin for the first time, they will not move on from it

Not everyone has a good use for bitcoin. Not everyone does online transactions, not everyone cares about privacy and security and most importantly not everyone cares about disruptive innovation. Many people would rather use their bank's services out of the convenience of not having to seek for alternatives.

People are accustomed to things they have been doing for a long time. Bitcoin is no exception here as many don't believe in its usefulness in doing online business with digital money and still prefer to use their bank accounts and credit cards because they are afraid to try new things and change their methods. I think calling the Bitcoin pioneers stupid is a little bit too much though. Yeah the value of Bitcoin could change overnight but it is not the end of the world if one has 100$ in coins just for fun right? It's like going to the bar on two Fridays. I mean come on

i am quite sure in some (probably most) cases, it's that they are too stupid. this is how things work. most people are stupid and buy into [stocks, technology, etc] long after its largest gains have already been made. even so, we don't need most people to use bitcoin for it to succeed.

You can't understand because you use bitcoin as investment, not as currency.
This is reason why bitcoin can't grow at all.

Bitcoin will only grow if we use it as a currency and not just a money for investment,we can help bitcoin grow more if we rotate it more in the market and not just in trading.
