The only device you can use to send sounds through the walls while still remaining anonymous is this device which hijacks your neighbours speakers to do with what you please.

Quote
Specific instructions:

Buy any SSB transmitter (SSB is a type of AM transmission). No reason to go with CB as it's power limited and therefore is difficult to find high power equipment for. A 10 meter transmitter would be ideal.

    Here's one on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/10-METER-BLUE-FREQUENCY-NUMBER/dp/B001JSYHBU

Buy a matching power amp (10 meter wavelength, AKA HF), as large as you can find. Here are some listings on ebay, starting at around 120 bucks for a worthwhile unit. The legal limit in the US is 1500w, so thats the highest you can likely buy.

    http://www.ebay.com/sch/Radios-CB-Ham-Shortwave-/1500/i.html?_nkw=hf+amplifier

Antenna, I suggest a loaded coil vertical for 10 meter (could be hundreds of dollars) as this will be the most compact short of a dummy load (which may or may not work for our purposes). This will likely be branded as a mobile model. Otherwise, learn how to string a horizontal dipole, this will cost less than $50.

Tone generator can probably be replaced by a laptop or ipod with samples at different frequencies. You'll need to get an adapter to plug your radio into your laptop or ipod. You'll also want a choke on the line between the receiver and source, as well as some sort of shielding for the laptop from the antenna.

All these pieces simply plug into each other. The signal source connects to the transmitter, the transmitter connects to the amp, the amp connects to the antenna. You may need various adapters and cables depending on the equipment you choose.

I dont expect someone with a newbie account to pay me 0,2btc so ive not bothered leaving a bitcoin address.

Hi you can visit these sites--

http://m.phys.org/news/2013-06-percent-walls.html

You can use a high pitch sound device and attach a sound proof device to it,which will decrease the constructive amplitude of waves and decrease the pitch in your room as well.

Put some soundproofing materials on the walls instead? Cover the holes with egg trays or foam to minimize the loud noise that comes from the other side of the house. Other than that, I clearly don't have any ideas left except from talking with the other guys next to you (which you said resolves nothing).

A sound grenade: jogger alarm, insert battery, screw cover on, glue cover on, pull pin.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

60 decimals will not hurt your ears, 60 - 70 decibals is like hearing a normal conversation from 1 meter away. When you get towards 90 decibals it gets loud. If you ever been to sound competitions the guys actually lean on their cars windows because the decimals are as high as a 747 taking off. It will make you deaf.

I don't think you can send sound through a wall the way you want it though. Give us more info, like what is it for exactly ? Are you looking for noise cancelling ?

The best thing you can do is go to a place that does recording for music or sell equipment they will set you up well. Unless you know of a good car stereo system seller.

You can connect your smartphone to a bluetooth or WiFi speaker at the other side.
I don't think concrete can block it.

You mean decibels? Just couldn't help that urge to correct you. (That's useless advice, by the way.)

The thing is, OP is trying to send sound back at his neighbors, so he can't exactly set up a bluetooth speaker in their flat. OP doesn't seem to have come online in the past few days, so I'm not sure if the offer is still open.

Sounds very old school Spy Vs Spy stuff.  There's a device for sending sound through the ground that can be heard at a distance. (Only trouble is others could hear it).

Parabolic dishes can send sound further and can pick up whispers.

You might have to come clean on what you want it for?

The easy and efficient and zero cost way is to jump into the other side of the wall and shout it. Simple.

It's been a while since I was last here, but I do love a good challenge...

Since you are offering fractional bitcoins for hints, here is my suggestion:

Use ultrasound interference.  Ultrasound is sound at frequencies above human hearing, so technically, it can be as loud as it needs to be blasted through a transducer... but because it is in the range above human hearing, no matter how loud it is, it shouldn't be heard at least not at the source.  Then using the principle of sound from ultrasound which involves interference patterns modulated appropriately, it is possible to direct the sound such that it is basically heard only at the destination.  There are companies that have developed the technology described in the wikipedia page:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sound_from_ultrasound

You can also Google the details of how sound from ultrasound works and there is also a few discussions on instructables if you want to investigated the DIY route:

Thank you guys for your hints!
I will read through them, if one seems good for my purpose, i will try it and if it works, i will send the 0.2BTC.

The purpose should be to send a loud noise to the neighbours that only they can hear.
Or to disturb their speakers.
I can see their Sat antenna. From me to the antenna it is about 8 meters. Maybe i can
kill the lnb with a laser or something?

Your (sick) ideas are welcome.

EM fields (from RF to UV) can be harmful for all kinds of living things. So we must be very cautious http://www.instructables.com/howto/jammer/ I hope that everybody understand this.

I also thought about a woofer but you will hear it in the whole house.

Does anyone know a forum or a site where i can get ideas?

It's about the flat next to me. The crack addicted neighbours turn their music and TV so loud my children can't sleep well. Talking with them didn't change anything. Police doesn't care.

Any other idea? Maybe i can disturb their electronic devices or the satellit signal or something else?
First you need to block out noise via all of the way like wall, window, hollow door and ceiling or floor.now you need think how you will get back to revenge.
I am not sure you have electric box on the wall if you have a box on wall just put a remote or WiFi speaker on the electric switch box as you already soundproof your home so you will not get the noise sound from your speaker.I am not sure you can setup the speaker if you can setup properly I hope it will work for your revenge.

If there's ever a time when nobody's in your apartment and your neighbors are sleeping, you could get a WiFi smart switch, plug a radio with the bass turned up into it, and turn it on remotely. I would have said a jackhammer or some loud tool, but IDK if there's a smart switch with that much output power.

if you complained and they did not change their habits or at least tried to lower the noise, that must be a moron family. Don't fight with them you will start an endless fight and end up same like them, better do what you must do to take care of the loud noise, you will get chance for a revenge sooner or later and you will enjoy it.

Instead of making more noise I would recommend an active noise cancelling device. It does not cost a lot, will solve the problem rather than adding to it and the technology is comparatively less expensive.  For additional information look here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active_noise_control.

Actually, now that I think about it... if they have a dog and you send a lot of ultrasonic noise their way, IF they have a dog,  the dog will make all the disruptive noise you need :-)

That said, as that you are having trouble with your neighbors... I guess talking to them is out of the question??

I would have said a jackhammer or some loud tool, but IDK if there's a smart switch with that much output power.

The trouble with leaving a device in your own home that is left playing loudly (and the neighbors are clued in that you are not home) is that they can then report you for having loud noise.

If it's something similar to their own noise (and we don't know if it's them talking/arguing/watching TV/Humping/practicing for Choir/Even Praying or Chanting/playing a rusty trombone/MTV...) it might annoy them enough because it's disrupting their own concentration.

Then again, are they elderly?  You could get them some headphones hooked up (via WiFi/FM transmitter) to their devices that are making the noise and they can listen at any volume they want and you won't hear a thing.
