You should try to delete the whole Espers folder in your user data.
Make sure to backup your wallet file before deleting.
This should fix the issues.

I was seeing this large volume of bitcoin falling and analyzing the ESPERS process in relation to this, I see that Espers is not much being influenced by this movement of the cryptomoedas market, I really like ESPERS, it seems more solid than many projects shitcoins that I see being released day after day.

Thanks to a fellow community member (Gandalf) we found the sync from "0" hangup. The client was simply searching one block off for minimum difficulty when it was reset. It's now been corrected and GitHub is updated, to go along with all this we're releasing a new update to the v0.8.7.2 client aptly named "Update-2" which has a host of updates piled into the new release.

5. Remove all lines starting with "addnode..."

Thanks for the update. I find the whole staking functionality to be confusing. Like my staking is enabled, but est. next stake and coins are shows as not staking. And when I hover over the trition symbol I see staking and my expected time to earn reward

OK, it helps. But how about to implement such algorythm directly into wallet? Allowing simply to click a button something like "rebuild connections" instead of such shaman dances with tambourine?.. (OK, OK, I know that linux guys like it -- but not windows users.)

Not have seen a third patch yet so maybe such button is already added...

I dont know how it goes, but you probably need to report to coinmarketcap.com, they have listed only 2 exchanges for ESP (coinexchange and livecoin) there is no Novaexchange.

Well, I'd tried patch v. 3. One day it works normally but the second day when I'd started the client I saw this:

Number of connections: (up to) 16
Client status: Not connected

and no syncing of course.

Now I'm confused greatly: if client not connected what does it means it established 16 connections? and if the client is established 16 connections how it can be not connected?..
