In January there is a mobile wallet with POS support. I'm glad I did not sell the coins.

Was this an official announcement or are this just rumors? I know that mobile wallet is planned for q1 2018, but havent heard from an release date.

Yeah, for me it was https://github.com/bitcoinx2/Espers/wiki/Solving-wallet-issues that helped me put my wallet on the right chain, had to use the snapshot combined with a rescan.

DId you do the snapshot sync and then rescan or snapshot + rescan and then opened your wallet?

HI, i had some espers like 2 years ago when its just started. I've still got the wallet.dat file, but as far as i know, there were some changes to the algorithm, yet is there any way to restore the coins from tat wallet?

I downloaded from website and it is updated there 0.8.7.0
From link in ANN it seems to be the earlier one  - Do not use the link i'm posting here. It is just for you to see that is older wallet: https://espers.io/download/wallet/windows/Espers-qt-v0.8.6.9.zip

Go to https://espers.io and download from there.

However i could not download Espers Blockchain, the bootstrap. (Gives some error while downloading)
I'm Syncing from where it was, so no problem

I am having issues with my wallet v0.8.6.7 it doesn't show my correct balance I've tried multiple times these fixes: https://github.com/bitcoinx2/Espers/wiki/Solving-wallet-issues but still can't solve it.

Should I go ahead and update to the new wallet or fix my current wallet first?

Well, little update on my wallet situation.
As i did had only one connection, i did added the list of addnodes i got from Coinexchange (a lot of them) but after quite a considerable amount of time, it shows 3 connections and "Client Status: Not connected"
My Sync Status is at 88.80%, pretty much where it was before.
Anything i must do to make it work?
Anyone that has it working well can share his conf file?
