How many % gpu mines more?
i would say it is probably about 2 or 3 farmers with gpu, if the software gets released then you will see the diff/ at least 3 times what it is now and that is prolly minimum! but that does one small thing on the other side also.... the miners will want the money so they will direly sell it any way possible because a miner thinks only of roi! at least for the most of them! if in fact we could drop all the other non BTC exchanges that would seriously push the market all on its own behalf You can't force an exchange to drop LTC market. Even more so when ESP is a base market for nova. Even if you could, you can't sell something people don't want to buy. The focus should be on raising demand not restricting supply because, tbh its too late for that. If miners can't mine esp for profit they will just stop mining. Not a big deal really. Noone is going to attack the network until the coin becomes more important and popular to trade. By then mining will make sense again, or PoR will be working

Noone is going to attack the network until the coin becomes more important and popular to trade. By then mining will make sense again, or PoR will be working isnt changing algo restricting supply to a certain degree? i do agree it is a bit late and the exchanges that have them outside of the BTC market are at first thought and a roaring croud all chanting but at these moments they al should be looking at them selves and saying WTF just happened.... obviously a very innovative strategy should be applied to straighten this very small kink in the road. its not something that should surprise anyone as this is how crypto works indifferently of the coin or algo. this is how it has been for several years and im sure will be for another several. but with hopes and dedication i believe this coin could be a game changer! hundreds come and hundreds go! only very few make a notable step higher in this very hard to crack crypto world. but if in effect everyone chants that we need to do this or we need to do that , in stead we need to take a serious look in the future and evaluate the cause and effect syndrome of those that came before us and not make some of the same mistakes they did and reap benefits from the knowledge they transcend to us.

CC did mention that but, as we speak the gpu farmers are gearing up because they have seen this happen too often and once they get their hands on the software they are in a vile race to who gets there first, to be honest if the dev leaves the goals and road marks where they were to begin with then yes i would agree that por should be right around the corner shortly after the gpu farmers get done raping it "riding it hard and hanging it up wet" but if any wallet changes happen that could also change some of the timelines involved also

Well no this won't shorten the time. The reason for this is the Difficulty retarget every 10 blocks, once the chain has more hash on it it retargets to achieve the same rate of speed. So it will still mineout in the same time. Also we stated that Once PoR is released the PoW will still be active, this coin will be a hybrid until the PoW ends and mines out. However, we believe you would agree that deploying GPU miners is sadly currently the priority, then the max tx size limitation and finally we will move into email and PoR systems. We are currently working on a ccminer and sgminer fork. Will have more news on this.

Great work guys!
Thanks! We apologize for the wait. Rome wasnt made in 1 day it was a good logic mate, it is not built for a go and run coin espers is for the future we are building community right now, the owner/dev are working overtime for this success as we all knew that those dumpers are the one who's giving us doubt but believe me, this community here at btctalk is the very busy alt as of now, we all checking but new announcement and we are active to share our point of view, I know Crypto will build a good future road map for us just keep holding guys.

And here is the miner: https://github.com/ocminer/cpuminer-hmq1725Use with: ./cpuminer -a quark -o stratum+tcp://esp.suprnova.cc:3451 -u suprnova.1 -p x You can also solo-mine to your wallet. And I want to be honest: The probability there is already a GPU miner is pretty high, I've checked the algos and there are already modules for Nvidia/AMD for them, so somebody just has to "rework" the quark algo in ccminer/sgminer, chain the correct modules and "voilla"... Ya think? New algo normally = private miner It wasn't hard to see that a private GPU miner was inevitable and was likely being used within days of launch. Pay the guy the .25 btc for his work and move forward with other plans. This is not a CPU only coin anymore and never will be. If there isn't a public GPU miner this coin will die a slow death as those mining with the GPU will dump everything they mine and the others will stop mining altogether and lose interest in this coin.

If there isn't a public GPU miner this coin will die a slow death as those mining with the GPU will dump everything they mine and the others will stop mining altogether and lose interest in this coin. Read back a few posts. There is a ccminer and sgminer fork being worked on currently. any one here who can help me how to work with mining? I want to use my i5 laptop with 940 NVidia built in video card I don't know how it work and it is the first time that I will mine a alt coin, use to mine using nicehash for bitcoin.

Hi, I am not yet getting my coins too.
Sent I am not yet getting my coins. User Name: maersk, Number in the List: #211. Hope to get my coins soon. Sent It wasn't hard to see that a private GPU miner was inevitable and was likely being used within days of launch.
Well that's why we are working on one ourselves, it also really should be more integrated in with the client. I'm personally debating on sending the btc so that others can mine asap while we continue the development but we'll see. the other thing is there's no guaranty that it will actually work when delivered and is it for amd and nvidia? just one?

Not a bad idea. I don't know where you are progress wise with a GPU miner but it is an ASAP issue to make one public. My comments are not intended to be negative just realistic.

I would urge you not to pay a single sat for his gpu miner. Better spend that on actual coin development rather than ransom money. So what if he mines for a few more days with GPU? If he had kept it secret he could have been mining for months with gpu and being a single miner noone would even notice
