I still don't understand; where was the fake username being submitted to the server? Not grasping the process of how they were impersonated with nothing but an altered login...? Just curious. Thanks Pretty much if you add a space before or after the name of an account it views it as a valid username. if you use a character from another language, such as Alt codes to make a p it views it as different from a regular p you type on the keyboard. this person found this out and used it to his advantage by impersonating accounts that did not send their address in bitcoingarden. I understand that part, but wouldn't they need a password? Or....I'm just realizing now....did they just create new accounts with invalid usernames, that appeared valid.... Question about the wallet - I'm on Win7, and can't seem to run the newest version in regular or administrative. A window pops up that says loading + updater (or something, too quick to read) and the ESP logo flashes for a second, then everything disappears & no wallet loads...has anyone else experienced this?

Pretty much he made New accounts that were identical to the original. down to the amount of posts the person had. A few of the original accounts had 7+ posts, the cheater even went so far as to copy the exact amount of posts as the original person. I will see if i cant get an answer to this. i have not been having any issues with the newest client. one moment while i look into this.

Who cares.. Just a little hicup in the ESP way. I'm also personally amazed that the team admitted that someone got more than 1 claim
We didn't see the point in hiding the information. We are aiming for trust from the community, how can you expect trust if you dont tell the full truth? Thanks for being honest with the community.

This guy is seriously using a VPN and I suspect he is using Tunnelbear because it fits the list of VPN it provides. So definitely he does not reside among those listed IP location.

@Everyone
Just a heads up to everyone since I've not posted in awhile.
We are still working on the max tx issue to resolve it properly. In The meantime it will be raised somewhat to take some the annoyance out.
Pallas has been working hard on the gpu miner and expects to release it after its been complete it. After purchasing the miner we will publicly release it and also integrate it into our client.
The auto updater will go through an overhaulled in the next version (auto updating clients will automatically patch the installation) This overhaul is to streamline the system and also introduce the ability to auto roll back the client in case issues with a new release (to be used as an emergency system only as we do not intend to release any buggy updates) Also with the auto updating clients there will be a new option to manually downgrade or upgrade your client so that you have the ability to go back to a version of your choosing if for some reason you do not like a particular update.
Another goal will be to make the client fully capable of running on a non standard directory so users are not limited to default location just to use some of the extra features.
Emailing is also currently in the works directly alongside the the PoR system as the two will rely on each other in asense. We have not completed this yet however are making progress. We will be slowly implementing the email features in stages over the course of the next several updates and stress testing prior to any update deployment.
If anyone has any questions please let us know, as always thank each and every one of you for being a part of this journey, we wouldn't be here without your support.

Hey I'm one of the early giveaway recipients and plan on holding for the long run. Except I would like to help fund bounties to promote fastest development marketing etc... If the developers have some setup let me know and I'll contribute!
So... I guess my Espers are no good here? No response from the developers regarding this offer. This is the only way I could think of to help with the coins I received.

I agree with Pallas. Forget about trying to fix this, its in the past and most of the coins could have been sold already. Move forward with your roadmap instead.
As for poloniex, forget about that for now as well. Getting on polo isn't going to do anything for this coin at the moment.
Everything is good now. We just need you guys to develop the coin, show github commits, keep up the presence on bitcointalk and the coin will pump itself. Polo and Trex will also fall into place with more interest.
I think u are wrong if it does get on polo . Will be big step forward . But it's also true that it will be hard to get listed . I personally feel if the coin get on polo many will prospers . And many trader would love this coin . It would also destroy the Ltc wall.
