Go hard or go home.

People are going crazy with hashpower because of the POS at block 5000. If you can get a large portion of the coins before 5000, you're golden for POS. Smiley First few hours are really important because you input the least amount of time per hash power, if that makes sense. So during the first few hundred blocks, you're getting a massive lead if you invest a lot in hashpower.

pos is per year remember this, so if you have 1k coin, this is only giving to you 3k coins per day, if the price is below 50-100 satoshi(and probably will be) you're wasting time

Ouch!
100 Satoshi * 1 billion= 100 billion Satoshi= 1000BTC=420k Dollar of cap market.
I think price would be more. almost 500-800 satoshi

Has anyone tried window qt so far?  Worked ok?

yeah, it has odd connection behavior upon launch but never failed to me.
dev probably could explain wtf is it

Ok.  32 bit win xp and 7 is having connection issue.  added nodes manually, but still no go.  Connection icon blinks but 0 connections.

Finally, I installed qt on my 64bit win7 masternode server and it works.  syncing started.

So 32bit is no go I guess.

This qt is frustrating.  Now 64bit win7 qt is stuck at block 314 and lost connection.    I already entered ips from last page.  Can someone give me some other working node ip?

NVM.  All three pcs, 32bit win7 and xp and 64bit win7 all finished syncing suddenly.   weird behavior.

lets do the opposite:
close wallet, delete all addnodes, place only 2 of them from OP in loco.conf, delete peers.dat, relaunch, wait

addnode=52.88.93.148
addnode=92.233.105.50
listen=1

I had the same problem and this node did the trick

Code:
addnode=203.91.244.188

here is my loco.conf maybe it can help you

Code:
rpcuser=INVENT_A USER
rpcpassword=INVENT_A_PASSWORD
rpcport=34574
port=34575
listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
addnode=52.88.93.148
addnode=92.233.105.50
addnode=203.91.244.188

Sorry, i am not So technical here But have two questions.

1.
For masternodes should i insert my public IP? If yes, how find a open port for that?

2.
After each turn off/on my modem , The IP will change. So i should rent a VPS server for run a masternode?

1. yes.  To open a port, you need to log into your router, open a port on firewall, and point to your pc ip.

2. Are you sure modem changes ip every power cycle?  Mine didn't change for year now with frequent power outtage.  VPS server would be good solution but will cost money.

Same here, wallet is somehow defective, with so many nodes and peers, is not normal to behave like that.
