The dev wrote:

We would say the easiest way for this is if you use coin control to put that amount into one and

send it yourself and/or use an exchange to withdraw that amount to your address ie send 30,000

coins exactly to your masternode wallet.

---

can I simply send this to novaexchange then back to me then and it will have the same affect as using coincontrol? I honestly don't want to have to do through extra steps with coin control as this is very new to me already working with staking.

Yeah I just tried to read how to use coin control and it's way over my head. I guess I won't be able to stake at the 5000 block for a while... this sucks. I made sure I transferred those coins 12 hours before block 5000 too.

My wallet is unlocked for staking and has been for a while too.

In your wallet go to "settings" >> "options">>"display"
and ticket "display coin control features">>apply>>accept
then go to to the send tab in your wallet now you will see a new box named "coin control features", click the button "Inputs", now you will see a list with all the input to your wallet in your case there should be a lot of 20 LOC inputs, select them all and press OK, now you will see some numbers under the Inputs button, right click on the "After Fee" number and select "copy after fee", paste that on the amount box and put an address of your wallet (to send the input to yourself) now push the send button and accept the fee and that stuff, you will now see a message indicating "payment to yourself" wait a couple of minuted until the transaction get the confirmations now in the tab "send" check your Input and you should see just one large input instead of many little inputs, that all you need to do.

ok, can confirm it stakes according to the first formula.
BUT, in OP it says 6 hours to start, actually it takes not hours but 1440 confirmations.
my test tx was cold as ice after 6 hours for hours, and ignited for staking exactly after 1440 conf, it took ~21 hours

https://github.com/LGLoco/Loco/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L2202

which means no matter what a smart ass i am, i can only stake the same tx twice in every POS 2500-block interval, at best

yah.
Code:
		nStakeMinConfirmations = 1440;

https://github.com/LGLoco/Loco/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L2223

looks like won't stake for 1440 conf, and with hi-pos periods being divided into 2500 block sections, only one obvious stake per section.

with luck will get two in the first mega rewards Cheesy

How many hours aprox. to get 1440 confirmations?

look 3 posts above, it may vary of course, 1440 is quite a distance

Upps sorry I missed that, so no dev, no 6 hours stake, maybe when Nightz solve his problems, he could relaunch the coin.

yep, and philakone will throw another 150 for "mining the crap out"

so he was the guy pushing the prices..... but the coins we mined in this period could be swapped in the relaunch.

What is the news guys? Is anyone's staking right now?

I did that coin control swap and it says this now: Status: 68 confirmations, broadcast through 6 nodes

Are you guys saying it takes 1440 confirmations to begin staking? yikes! It seems like I'm going to miss the high % return?

Also, how do you think the price will be like on exchanges? I'm really hoping there are buyers that it seems only 1 guy is interested in buying and at 10K satoshi too, which is about a 25% of what most of us probably paid for hashpower.

24 hr (1440 block) min stake, will help keep total coin count down Wink

-

Quote
Block    0 - 5000 = 0 coins Per block
Block 5001 - 7500 = 100,000 %
Block 7501 - 10,000 = 75,0000 %
Block 10,001 - 12,500 = 50,000 %
block 12,501 - 15,000 = 25,0000 %
Block 15,001 - 17,500 = 10,000 %
Block 17,501 - 20,000 = 5,000 %
block 20,001 - 22,500 = 2,500 %
Block 22,501 - 25,000 = 1,000 %
Block 25,001 - 30,000 = 500 %
Block 30,001 - 60,000 = 250%
Block 60,001 - 120,000 = 100%
block 120,001 Onwards is set to 50% Per Year

each of those different staking amounts is in a 2500 block block, until it gets to 500%.
1440 min stake confirmation means if you stake early in any period, you will get a chance to stake twice, otherwise you'll get to stake twice in next period
(1440 * 2 = 2880 which is obv greater than 2500 )

math has left cryptoworld  Undecided
block ~5140 + 1440 = 6580 - you'll stake your pile for crazy% once, but not twice,
thanks to the guy who told you to resend your coins  Wink

Embarrassed it was reasonable at 6 hours stake, at least he now know how to use coin control and his bags wont be so heavier

WOW... At this pace, we're all going to have to dump it sometime before the count gets insanely large and price per loco goes down drastically.

This is what I mean by the developer with 10K, which is worth about 2.5 BTC, is earning at 2.75x first day, then 2.75x2.75 second day, etc.

So in 4 days of staking as the developer, he'd have literally $10,000 in BTC. If that does happen, which I assume it will because who'd be stupid not to make $10K in 4 days because they're scared of "hurting feelings," we're all going to have to dump around that time too.

How do we stimulate buyers? It seems all the people interested in LOCO currently have it already. Saying this based on the no buy order wall.

no.. value per coin should drop acordingly.  unless dev shows up, locos are worth as much as penny on the street.

If anything, we should coddle back dev.  otherwise we are just screwed................in ASS.

edit.  my mistake.  longest is 1300 conf.  I combined my coins.
There seems to be an error in the wallet: my wallet says - "Not staking because you don't have mature coins" even while I am actually staking

thats no mistake.  there isn't much competing stak at this stage of coin and soon as 1440 confir is achieved, you get pos.  Then you dont have any more eligible coin so it says, "Not staking because you don't have mature coins".

Later on down the blocks, when there are more competing coins for staking, it won't give pos at 1440 but higher confir depending on weight.

At that point, stake display will say something like "your weight is xxx and expected time is 5min".

does this make sense?
