I added conf file, turn off antivirus but still didn't syncronize Huh

Hey,

Try this: https://mega.nz/#!N8xEgJIL!QC2PTgrqLeVG40A4e1Mx5oQ_QvL2nDkPGL75-IHScOo

Someone uploaded their peer.dat a few days ago and I had the same issue. I replaced it with this peer.dat and it worked.

Also this is my Loco.conf which has worked flawlessly with no issues:

+1 Smiley

I still see some some potential on this coin (in terms of profiting). Not sure if it can get on yobit though because they require a block explorer I think.

Hi there, I setup a block explorer for Loco.
It is very simple but at least now we can see what is going on in the blockchain.

Nice, we can now submit to Yobit again and they can actually consider adding LOCO.

The dev should update the announcement with the exchange and the explorer when he can...

Having problems with wallet syncing, have the conf file but no active connections to the network

Same problems here, maybe its cause of some network problems. Yesterday all day and this morning. I will try one more time and if its not working I will quit. It's annoying when things like this happens.

Do you, my son, understand that there is a problem with the wallet?
There are tons of valid peers, and there is nothing wrong with the peers.dat.
Yes, I tried the solution you mention, but with the same results: It finds peers and then disconnects immediately.
After some tries, or some hours of waiting, it connects eventually and slowly the number of connections is rising.
But it is no simple task to just close the wallet and then reopen it.

yeh it does that to me.
i've been running it intermittently, and with the current mega addnode .conf it generally connects to 1 very quickly, then will grow over time.
currently on 4 connections and been open about 5 hours.

you've been intermittently helpful philakone but not everyone share's your situation. i know my internet is pretty shit so i assume it's down to that :p

"timeoffset" : 41,
"moneysupply" : 1342922.67812500,
"connections" : 12,

1.34 million coins so far.  Thought it wouldve been higher by now.

Regarding syncing problem,

It was easier earlier when I had to sync with sorts of problem people are having now, due to the fact blockchain was way smaller.

Now blackchain got big and with syncing problem, it may take much much longer to fully sync.

Maybe temporary solution would be to create bootstrap file.  That might shorten syncing time.

I will try to create one later when I get back home.  But if anyone else has time, you are welcome to make one and test it.

Ok.  I got the bootstrap file under zip format.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/o4sp6cmc2d44lc1/Loco.zip?dl=0

Assuming your wallet hasn't synced and you have no loco coin,
delete your local loco folder at  .../appdata.

Unzip downloaded file and move it to .../appdata.

Run Loco qt and it shuld create new wallet.dat for you.

On my laptop, its instantly synced and got more than 5 connections.

It should have data upto block height 15500 or so.

Good luck and let me if downloading fails.

Just curious why people are still invested in this coin? The developer doesn't seem like he's coming back, and this coin's already tanked in price so much. It'll probably fall to under 10 satoshi soon.

I just dumped 29,000 LOCO Smiley Enjoy the 90 satoshi shit coin. I invested $100 into hash power. Usually I'm 100% right that the coin is worth the investment. The only time I'm wrong is when a developer ditches for whatever reason.

And guess what!? It happened!!!
