Sell them to everyone here at $0.99 and hold ethers or litecoin  Grin

if a $300 - $1200 currency drops to $1, there must have been a major discovery such as Satoshi donating all his stashed treasures.

I will buy a lot of bitcoins if the price dropped to 1$ and hold them for a couple of years to see if theres a change in price, i can wait even it will took ten years for the price to go up.

I think a lot of people would be intent on purchasing Bitcoin if it was being sold for ~$1, but I don't think there would be a lot of miners who would still be sitting around and confirming the transactions. It wouldn't be worth it at that point.

How can you hold your bitcoins let's say when its value drops to $1? I think bitcoiners would be lazy earning it. The sites connected to bitcoins can go down and stop working on it because they can't support it anymore. So could you still hold your bitcoins that you are keeping for a long run and keeps on hoping to increase its value again?
Please don't get offended by my own opinion, I'm just sharing my thoughts and also sorry for my bad english  Grin
Also me I'm worried when something goes wrong like that.

I'm pretty sure we still have time to sell our money at 300$ because with bitcoin priced as 400$+, surely it will not become 1$ tomorrow or the next week. It will slowly move to 1$ if that happens. It will not drop from 400$+ to 1$ in one night.

Bitcoin dropped to 1$ good question but it's dream untill and unless bitcoin ban in all countries bitcoin price will reach there or else it's not at all possible. If it drop means we can't do anything we have to wait for price increase if there is no chance to increase means we have to donate some one. what we do with 1$ now a days.

I would be looking at my screen for a minute and looking if this is really happening. Then I would look if this is legit and see if other people are buying. I would be careful because if the price is $1 something is not right.

It's fun to read the dick swinging posts about buying everything up. In reality the overwhelming majority would be squirting piss and vomit while mewling softly.

lol, that is so dark.
what did you expect? a shitty question will only attract shitty answers.

and since there is no reason for bitcoin to go to $1 then everybody is trolling here, because it is just a troll question.

The obvious question that would need to be answered first is Why did the price of bitcoin drop to $1? If someone broke the system or hacked it in some fundamental way (such as a quantum computer that starts identifying private keys), it would be throwing money away to buy bitcoin. If an altcoin was overtaking it as the flagship of cryptocurrency, then I'd have to assess bitcoin's development efforts and ability to compete. If it was because of FUD or non-permanent crackdowns on bitcoin use causing an over-reaction, I'd be inclined to buy.

of course there are factors that are very powerful that bitcoin could drop to $ 1.

If bitcoin price drop to 1$,it must be any reason behind that. like technical problems, attacked on encryption system... etc.so its still risky to buy high amount.

If Bitcoin drops to $1, or even $0.01, I would remain neutral. I will not sell any of my coins, but at the same time, I will not buy any either. One of the golden rules for making investment is "don't try to catch a falling knife". I had ignored this rule a few times in the past (while making investment in equities). And the results were not that pleasant.
Yes this is true, and experience in those cases is crucial, for making good decisions.
But what if this fall is not knife, but only one good deep where you can collect as much as you can and later
on sell it for much better price?

you two should really read the bitcoin paper (you can download it from bitcoin.org)
and also you should study a bit more about how bitcoin works and also read some about how encryption system that bitcoin uses works.

i am not an expert so i don't dare explain it here, because i am sure i will give some false information, but if you study those topics you will see that what you explained is impossible.

I will keep playing as long as bitcoin has a price. but maybe I'll find a job in the real, because bitcoin already I can not rely anymore, if the price is only $1.

Do you mean that now you are not working on any real jobs and rely only on bitcoin for your daily life? If so, I wonder how you can make a living with bitcoin only. Would you share how you do it?

If bitcoin's price dropped to 1$, that means people are dumping their btc. Meaning it will become a dump coin sooner or later. I doubt that there's still a chance that bitcoin's price will increase.
