Exactly what the title says.

If bitcoin dropped to the price of a dollar (which we hope it never will), what would you do? Buy more and hold, sell? Buy a promising altcoin like ETH?

I personally would buy more bitcoin.
I would buy as many coins as possible but first I would find out if it still would make sense to buy them.
Because maybe the price is that low because it is going to be the end of Bitcoin.
of course the best decision is to buy as much bitcoins right now as possible because in my opinion if bitcoin dropped to 1 dollar then it would still be possible to make some profit in the future i think
I don't think that bitcoin will drop to $1 any day in future, if it occurs too it doesn't mean that it is going to end, it will rise up again.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

The problem would be how long would stocks last? Are you going to be able to buy bitcoins fast enough to get your hands on them while it is still priced at $1? That's probably going to be the biggest issue if that's going to happen.

There will be a massive dumping to happen for those who lost interest in bitcoin but there would also be a massive hoarding event for those who see the drop in value as an opportunity for a really high profit.

If bitcoin dropped to $1, of course I will buy many bitcoin as much as I can. I will keep it until the bitcoin increase.

I don't think that's a wise decision to make. Bitcoin price will only go down to 1$ when people are dumping all their coins. That means bitcoin has lost its value, and that bitcoin isn't a "thing" anymore and people moved on to another thing. There might be some price increase that would happen because there are people like you who would think that it's a potential investment because since bitcoin is at its bottom, then only two things can happen: (a.) Bitcoins would be worth 0.0000x$ (b.) Bitcoin's price would rise.

I'm at a crossroads. On the one hand, if the price will drop to $ 1, it is possible to buy more at this price, in the hope of future growth. I think the growth of any will, a lot of people rely on Bitcoin and do not want to lose it. On the other hand, if the price falls, and our current savings, too, it will give beginners a psychological negative effects and distrust. And it is possible to grow in value any altcoins, which they may be switched.

well maybe will be very much the losers if the price of bitcoin fell to $ 1, but I think it is a great opportunity for people who still have money to buy a bitcoin, because if the price of bitcoin dropped to like it, I guess the bitcoin worldwide will compete to buy bitcoin in large numbers, and I believe it will make the price go back up to $ 200 or more

If Bitcoin dropped to $1 which means our Bitcoin pay in signature campaign would have to increased to match the pay we used to get; this would be quite difficult since it would mean that the campaigns would have bitcoins of less value in their wallets and it would finish quite quickly through the increased pay. Otherwise they just have to stop the signature campaign.

I think so that the rate for signature campaign would increase if the price of bitcoin will fall back. On the other hand it can cause too to make it stop that I don't want to happen and I know even you, who want to make it close? When we get 10$ everyday so it very great to double the hard work.

Of course it would have risen.
Advertisers pay you in bitcoins, but it is kinda obvious that you would get more than let's say 50k sat per post,
if bitcoin would be like 1-2 $ right? Tongue i though it is thing that we all know actually haha.

If bitcoin dropped to $1 i would buy lots of bitcoin because i know if there is a drop also there is a rise. And i will wait the best time to sell all the bitcoin to gain huge profit. But this is not would happen because the demand of users is continuous going to rise due to massive adoption of people in bitcoin it would help to increase the price.

I'll buy a lot of bitcoin, as many as I can, but I think at that time, it could be quite difficult to buy bitcoin, but I'll try to get as much as possible.
And sell them once they are like $1000 each  Grin

I rarely take decisions based on price, I look at value (which is different from price). If bitcoin drops at $1 then I will analyze what are the causes for it and eventually if I deciding to buy then I will consider the current value of it (at that time). Right now bitcoin is running at low amount on price table when we see actual potential of it, if the situation remains same then I will grab coins (quantity will be correlated with situation of that time).

If you gambled them all, you'd probably lose them all. Just make sure to gamble what you can afford to lose.

Well, almost everybody here is saying: "I will buy as much as I can and when price increases I'll sell them". The question is when to sell. Say you've bought 100BTC for $1 each and then seeing it's $100 each you sell them and you have $10k which is not bad but I bet you'll be regretting your decision if you'll see Bitcoin price over $1k.

I hold on to my bitcoins until its last minutes. I will just buy more and wait for the price to increase.  I'm gonna invest again in bitcoin. Bitcoin is alive for years overcoming problems so I thought the dev will do the same again
