Is the OTC market still active for IOTA, any reputable escrow agents here?

My calculation according to that 930 / 78 *100 = 1193.54  <<< total amount of Bitcoins with Jinn converted to bitcoin

Now if we devide that by the tota amount of Iota, we get the ICO price: 1193.54 / 2780000 = 0.000429

So ICO price was about 0.00043 Bitcoin/ Giga Iota

I think Price wight now in this thread is 0.85 Bitcoin for 100 Giga Iota. So 0.0085 Bitcoin / Giga Iota
But please check price here yourself, havn't been following it lately.

There where 930.96 Bitcoin Invested, which is 78 % net value of the total Investments. Rest of the Investments was through Jinn assets.

An easy way is to use one of the NXT Asset Exchange IOU tokens. However I can only vouch for this one: https://nxtforum.org/asset-exchange-general/bbiota-(yet-another-iota-gateway-asset)/
Current price is near 3 NXT per old IOTA which is 3 NXT per 2,8 MIOTA which is 0,000036 BTC per 2,8 MIOTA which is 0,0128 BTC per 1 GIOTA.

Thanks, so there's an active secondary market in those NXT IOU IOTA's, I'll take a look, I thought they were just being used for pre-launch distribution

Yes. Since the IOTA is in alpha stage and client is quite difficult to use people find it useful to use NXT IOU tokens for holding and speculation.

There is something very wrong in those numbers, dont know if yours or mine. Im not selling at 100x  Cheesy

And typically, all trades for nxt have had a way higher rate than standard bitcoin trades.

ICO price was about 0.00043 Bitcoin/ Giga Iota

So 4000 Giota, was 1.72 btc.

40/1.72 = 23.25x   ICO price.

Its a bit over the 125 Giota for 0.85 offered by someone that has dissappeared and not connected in over a month, and without escrow. (maybe scam?)

Thats what bahamapascal wrote, seems reasonable:

ICO price is not important when it comes to evaluate a Coin/Token/whatever. All that matters is inflation, max coin supply and price.

Its like asking at what price Apple had its IPO. Who cares? Its all about valuation now and in future from an investor point of view or speculative point of view.

Btw how is it possible to buy them through NXT coins?

I dont know if there are others, but the last mentioned nxt service:  https://nxtforum.org/asset-exchange-general/bbiota-(yet-another-iota-gateway-asset)/

Is trading at 30x ICO price, and no volume. So in practice it would be much higher if you want to make a well sized buy.

If you are new here, around 20x is the price that was moving around last months.

It has wallet. In fact Windows, Mac, Android, iOS and web wallet will be available at launch. But this is just 'in addition', IOTA is for the emerging 'Machine Economy', devices doesn't care about shiney GUIs, so it has taken the spot at the lowest of our totem pole in terms of development.

You are of course free to consider IOTA worth less than what it is being traded at for whatever reason, but 'no wallet' is not a fact, and I don't like lack of facts.

Here's one too: https://nxtforum.org/asset-exchange-general/ciota-iota-11-backed-asset/
I don't know who it is, seems legit, but you have to do your own research.

I had an IOTA asset too, but I am sold out: https://nxtforum.org/asset-exchange-general/(ann)-giota-iota-backed-asset/ Maybe GIOTA holders will sell, don't know.

Good luck
