I have about 0.012 bitcoins in coinpower.io which took over 2 months to accumulate. Just an hour ago, I checked their site and it seems that it's offline. I wouldn't count that as lost bitcoins, not yet, as I have to wait for a few days to confirm if I indeed have lost what took me over 60 days to have.

Yes, many times and most of the times I have lost in gambling but I have never invested in any cloud mining sites or else my loss would be even higher at this stage.

I'm Sorry about that, pal. I think the number was still passable when compared to my friends affected cloudmining and HYIP scam. I think you should stop gambling and good if you are not investing in HYIP. A bit of advice, if you want to trade with people who are not known as much as possible to use an escrow service. hehe

I'm Sorry about that, pal. I think the number was still passable when compared to my friends affected cloudmining and HYIP scam. I think you should stop gambling and good if you are not investing in HYIP. A bit of advice, if you want to trade with people who are not known as much as possible to use an escrow service. hehe

Even its hard to find genuine escrow as one of my friend was scammed by an escrow and ran away with his coins, so its better to avoid it and keep our coins in our own hands.

I think you are deceived by an escrow service that is less reliable, for me because there are moderators who came from my country so he could provide escrow services for people who come from here for free. Or try to find Are Some escrow service that is already trusted. hehe

well you should never trust exchanges because such stuff can happen any time, after trading i always get back my money from it and i never leave it

if you want to trade bitcoin or altcoins you have to trust exchanges. there is no other way, you can withdraw your funds every time but you will end up leaving something on the exchange site at some point.

I think that is given by the newbie that we got scam by the mining sites/ponzi/hyip because we are greedy to earn fast and all i know is very easy to earn in bitcoin but that experience we learn a lot about bitcoin and how to earn properly in bitcoin.

Well if you are new in the world of bitcoin or cryptocurrencies then it is inevitable to get scammed. I think all bitcoiners gone through that way because all of us wants to earn. But now i am careful when investing my bitcoin, i make sure that it is not scam or not risky to invest. No to hyips or cloud-mining sites anymore. I'd rather lose my bitcoin in gambling.

It's most of the time the user fault even if they insist that It wasn't , If you got scammed then It's probably because you didn't use an escrow , If your funds were in an exchange or online wallet and they got hacked , It's also your fault for doing that as It's not recommended at all (unless you kept them for like 24 hours and got bad luck of course)

I myself never got an issue storing my bitcoins and never lost anything , not even few satoshis.

Yes , I did lost Bitcoin but not one whole Bitcoin, It is indeed my fault because i trusted the site too much. Still it is a good experience for me because of that i never trusted any cloud mining site again. Now i just used my Bitcoin in Gambling site investment and i am hoping that this will not run too like the cloudmining site i used to use.

I don't lose bitcoin from my wallet or exchanges. Actually I lost my bitcoin from gambling and trading, it is also painful. Keep your bitcoin safe is also important.

First mistake was cloud mining, second was again cloud mining, third was gambling on dice... Overall i lost a little over 3bitcoins... Now, i am in trading with a profit of a little over 0.2btc

I have lost small amounts of coins in the past. Once someone hacked in to my online wallet and stole the coins. In another incident, the exchange site which I was using went AWOL, taking my coins.

Its really hard to trust any site online as in long run they turn out to be scam and run away with the money of people, I have lost some coins in doubler sites in the past.

Yes I got scammed out of around 60 dollars worth of Bitcoin.  Never send first even if you have done several trades with the person.
