Okay guys, devs have 36 million coins which is 1/3 of the total supply.
Now they voting his own delegates. This is not decentralized.
I am out...
If you want to read, please join to slack:
shazzy [6:12 PM] the purpose of genesis delegates is exactly this .. during launch test stability of network .... we have deemed it not fit and taken action ....
vprf [6:12 PM] Should we shut down our nodes, or keep them running
shazzy [6:13 PM] @vprf.. you can keep them for your own wallet use ... entirely your choice ...
vprf [6:13 PM] ok
cointrader83 [6:14 PM] @shazzy: wow that was a "decentralized s"
neiq [6:14 PM] lol
cointrader83 [6:14 PM] "decentralized" steps
shazzy [6:15 PM] That is decentralised ... we have sufficent Rise to vote in Genesis Delegates (edited)
[6:15] that is precisely what decentralised is ...
cointrader83 [6:16 PM] really? risedelegate93 has 36.67 percent of votes.
[6:17] are you own 36 million coins?
[6:17] pretty cool amount
shazzy [6:17 PM] seems like the big holders voted for genesis because unlike you they understand a working network is more important that a few Rise in fees
darkoth89 [6:17 PM] lol
shazzy [6:17 PM] Thank you to the guys that voted for Genesis Delegates!
cointrader83 [6:17 PM] @shazzy: are you joking right?
darkoth89 [6:17 PM] Why are people moaning about this?
shazzy [6:17 PM] Let us fix and improve this and we will move forward
darkoth89 [6:17 PM] Do you understand what fixing an issue means? lol
shazzy [6:18 PM] @darkoth89: baffles me ...
[6:18] anyways I am off slack for a little while ... got some real work todo and things to fix (edited)
cointrader83 [6:19 PM] @shazzy: what real work? answer my question do you have 36 million coins?
neiq [6:19 PM] @shazzy: you've got to be the funniest dev on here
cointrader83 [6:20 PM] or do you want to tell me that 1/3 of the coin holders voted to your delegates?
shazzy [6:20 PM] @neiq: ... in crypto you have to be ... everyone thinks they know better than you yet contribute 0 lines of code .... got to be light hearted otherwise youll jump off a bridge :slightly_smiling_face:
tyndierock [6:20 PM] Yes the devs have 36 million coins, 10268928216682419931R
cointrader83 [6:21 PM] @tyndierock: really?
[6:21] they are ICO partipiants?
[6:21] not problem for me
tyndierock [6:21 PM] check out the address mate, this was all in the ICO and whitepaper, its no surprise
cointrader83 [6:21 PM] but did you post anywhere this information?
tyndierock [6:22 PM] Its unfortunate they had to do this, but this is a good thing
cointrader83 [6:22 PM] hm... as I remember: 88 million coins in ICO and 12 millions in dev funds
[6:22] or no?
tyndierock [6:23 PM] hmmn you may be correct on those numbers, however the developer team controls more than 12
cointrader83 [6:25 PM] wow very transparent
[6:25] link in btc?
[6:26] yes I see the developer controls more than 12
neiq [6:26 PM] I'm up for a good debate and see cointraders point tho. As it stand right now the devs have controlling say on delegates
tyndierock [6:26 PM] What I mean by that is that they personally own more than the 12million.
[6:27] In my opinion that is necessary to start in case there were any issues (which apparently there are)
neiq [6:27 PM] but it fixed the forks
darkoth89 [6:28 PM] Whats the issue with them buying their own coin, surely thats a good thing and not a bad one? 1
cointrader83 [6:28 PM] @darkoth89: it is not problem, but transparency is the key
[6:29] devs needed to announce that they buying his own coins
[6:29] not problem with that
[6:29] but if they not announce that is a problem
Dev cannot have 30% of all coins!!! That most be a Bittrex address or so...

It's definitely not a Bittrex address (it's not how their wallets work) - the only possibilities are that it is a GIANT whale (which seems unlikely), it's the devs themselves or it is some kind of error.

If that is true then they could sell those at 1 satoshi and still make a profit (though stupid if they did that). Time for the conspiracy theorists to appear.

The statement he is leaving out is the fact that this address is the ICO withdrawl pool. There are still 36 Million ICO funds pending withdrawl. They are not "THE DEV TEAMS" If he had chosen to show the rest of the conversation if would have clearly shown that.

They said the 29th but there is no further update on specific time. If it's like the Bittrex launch you should expect to get it on 3rd or 4th of July once the devs have completed their meal.

what da fuk are they doing with 36 million coins ? They are releasing the 36 million coins to the ICO participants. The number being thrown around was an approximate number of coins which are still in the main wallet waiting to be withdrawn from people who purchased in the ICO. The 36 million are not property of the DEV team, but merely held waiting to be withdrawn by those who purchased them.

what da fuk are they doing with 36 million coins ? the question is why are they using them against the community which like to be delegates ... if this is the ico pool which is not withdrawn - maybe all the coins which are still on the ico site they should not use them to vote ... regards

cointrader83 [8:03 PM] what is the better? shazzy [8:03 PM] It does not matter ... we can vote with 5M we sill would win all 101 delegates [8:03] we have 12M in another account for dev funds
