Upcoming Video Release As some of you know we have received requests from within the RISE community
to create a video that introduces all members of our development team. The video shoot is
scheduled for Monday and we should have the video ready for you within a few days following.
Aside from an introduction our developers will cover several topics such as the new Rise code base
currently under development, short-term and long-term vision for Rise and future applications.
You'll also get a peak behind the scenes in terms of the development tools, configuration and
setup they use on a daily basis to build the RISE platform. Stay tuned.
Good news Dev. When will the new codebase be ready for public release?
I think this information will not tell you exactly, so we can only wait and hold coin. IMHO |

When will the new codebase be ready for public release?
Hi imbladednow, we hope to have a date for the release of an alpha prototype within a couple of weeks. We're devising an Alpha Program which will be made accessible for a maximum of 15 qualifying testers from the Rise community for a closed testing round. Testers will be awarded a bounty for identifying bugs and issues. Once we feel confident enough about the robustness of the prototype it will be passed on to the public beta for which we have no official release date yet. |

It is heartening to see more robust communication from the Rise team these past few weeks. I was deeply skeptical when everything went quiet for some time. I will be watching to see how things continue to unfold.

The Delegate nodes visible on the Delegate Monitor are running on mainnet, not testnet. We run the genesis delegates on a series of servers to uphold the Rise network. You are correct that, once the new code base is ready and deployed, RISE will no longer be based on Lisk but we will have our own unique RISE architecture. Our dev team is making sure that the RISE SDKs they already developed for JAVA, C#, Python, Ruby and NodeJS will remain compatible with the new code base so we won't waste time having to develop those again. I admire those who were patient enough to hold their Rise through all the turmoil and uncertainty. I wasn't able to. But I continue to monitor the project. I once thought it wouldn't be possible to get it back on track. But I am impressed that the team is communicating again and making strides in a new direction. For the sake of my fellow investors, I hope this new trend continues and culminates in good things.
