RISE was rise again, i had no regrets for waiting too long for this project, this has a great investment potential and now listed on 3 major exchange platform yobit, bittrex and litebit, i never realize that this little project a year ago had grow bigger and bigger each day and exactly this what the RISE stands for. good luck to RISE team, i still holding my coins until now waiting to pumped in @ 1 to 2 USD ATH soon.
I think so. There many one says that, RISE is gonna rise in october. Hope so! Been holding for a couple of weeks now and haven't seen much movement, just need to be patient.
Is there any big features scheduled to come out in October or is it just the random price increase most of the coins get time to time?

I think the price jump is mostly related to the switch to a new network and addition of new developers. Also the first project called Chipz is going to be launched on the RISE network soon. All RISE holders will receive an airdrop according to the snapshot of your account that is planned for Q1 2018.

Do coins need to be in a specific wallet for airdrop or will they drop in exchange as well?

I'm not sure. My best bet is to keep it in the official Rise wallet.

In most cases it's up to the exchange to decide what happens in these situations and they can easily decide to keep your coins and there's nothing you can do about it. I prefer, and would advise for several reasons, keeping coins in official wallets and not on exchanges.

But I think we'll get an announcement with more information concerning the airdrop when the time comes. In the meantime you can stake your coins from the wallet and get some more free RISE Smiley

how many coins do you need to have in order to stake them? is the reward in rise? and what is the return on that? Thanks!

I don't think there's a minimum so you can stake whenever you like. The reward is in Rise and the return depends on the delegate that you choose. It might sound complicated, but it's really not so just take a look at it. I postponed doing it and just voted for a delegate a couple of days ago and have been receiving RISE ever since. I regret not voting months ago!

You can see the delegates list here: http://rise.delegates.tech/risevotel.php
And a tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OiO5E2avYI

The wallet was updated so the video is a bit different from how it looks now, but you'll find your way, I promise Smiley

Good luck and enjoy your free RISE Smiley

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Rise has very reasonable value at the moment seeing the volume in last increase. This is usual pattern where at top lot of buying were taking place and that is main reason to be positive for another short term increase to see it reaching back. This was bargaining price range at near 9k satoshi.

I am hoping the prize would go down a bit more, before I can reenter the RISE market again. Cheesy

I'm surprised it held at this point after that crazy overnight pump, you guy's need to also remember it was really much lower a few months ago, so don't get too greedy Cheesy If you are in since the very beginning, it's wise to take out some profits; better safe than sorry. I've learned that the hard way!

It took surprisingly everyone whoever saw the trading index on bittrex this morning was amazed. At this moment price has came down a lot but this seems to be correction because volume is keep growing. I don't think this pump is over even it is already x5 from where the price were few days ago. It is good who got on it by time. I will be watching closely to see if chance appear for me or not.

I will definitely go for bittrex as there have been numerous complaints raised about yobit for other coins in the past.

This is true. Bittrex is the only exchange I use at the moment. And still I keep as little coins as possible over there. It's just good practise to store your coins in wallets of which you posses the private key.

You dont stake RISE. You either run a delegate to forge new coins or vote for forging and sharing delegates to earn extra coins.
Its DPOS like LISK and ARK

+1 for Bittrex, seems like the safest bet in regards to having your funds online, make sure you have a 2fa though! And if you happened to want to continue to leave it online longer than usual, try and spread it across trusted exchanges.

So what are the reasons why the sudden pump to 2k sats. Chipz / Rise Reboot Hype?

As far i know:
1. RISE is just before switching to a new codebase (ARK fork) and launching new network base on forging delegates emerged from community contest
2. New test network is running smoothly (check testnet block explorer) since april - over 30 testers (community members) work together with Rise Team.
3. Announcement at Rise market"Wallet maintenance - preparing for swap" at rise marked. It was yesterday.
4. Investors are waiting for a swap that will occur at bittrex (the exact date has not yet been announcedt)
5. After swap, new asset /CHIPZ/ will be distributed between RISE holders proportionally to amount of RISE held in personal wallet (the exact date of Airdrop has not yet been announcedt)
6. As Rise Team said from beginning, they are NOT going to keep the coins forged before the swap (ca. 10% of total coins) - these coins will be officially BURNED (destroyed) just after launching the new mainnet (the exact date has not yet been announced).

What swap are you referring to? There was a swap in July already, do you mean that one? I did not hear of a new upcoming swap..

Bittrex is currently the best spot for trading overall. They have lots of liquidity and it is definitely among the safest places as the people who run that exchange are security experts.
