I've been reading some FUD about Rise, but every spike in price seems backed by a development. It's not just a random pump.
I invested a couple of months ago and it's in my top 3 ROI coins now.

Just do your own research and make your decision, don't just run off someone else's words and opinions and you'll be fine!

yup. there were no real pumps, it has retraced somewhat but so have many top coins. Im still up quite a bit and the staking returns are probably one of the best for me so will be holding. would like a bit more in terms of dev updates, the newsletter is pretty scarce on actual development progress.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Rise is up 15% because of bitcoin hard fork is done, people get bitcoin gold and dump bitcoin, therefore most altcoins are going up insanely now.

Rise was dead long time ago, but it survived during the altcoin bullish run. But now rise is correcting after the hype, I think it is good time to sell now.

yes we get it. you want to rebuy lower. take your FUD, learn english and GTFO.

Yes, the DPoS is great for me as well. I don't have to run any software and get coins from staking, which is ideal if you ask me Smiley
The Slack channel was pretty informative for a while, but I quit going there when all the phishing scams started.. but I look forward to the new projects being launched on the network, I think it's pretty exciting, so I'm holding as well

Staking is great. It helps lowering my buying price, so more profit at the end.  Grin

It's probably hard to find an altcoin that didn't have to fight with FUD. I remember the FUD that Blocknet experienced. My god that was so crazy, unbelievable FUD. It went down to something like $300k market cap or so? Cant even remember. Today it is at $107 million. FUD should be dismissed when making your decisions as an investor.

yea I bought block around 5/10ml$ cap..... now its my highest value coin.

Rise is getting FUD'd like crazy, hopefully devs deliver like they did with Block

You say FUD like crazy, but you remember the tough times which Blocknet experienced? Damn it was so intense, FUD all over the place on all communication channels people going wild about the project. But they kept calm and actually knew their plan and their stuff and they probably bought shitloads of their own coins at a super discount because of the FUD. Now everyone with deep pockets full of BLOCK is golden. Let's see if this goes a similar way.

Yeah, you stay FAR away. Did you read AFTER the 200 pages?

With the new devs, many activities. Here, the public Github: https://github.com/RiseVision/rise-node/pulse

Too bad I don't have access in the closed Github.

Since August the price has been up ~250-300% from €0.07 to €0.25 and has been steady around €0.20 even amidst the hard fork dip. I think it's doing well. I wonder at what price people jumped in?

Just because you bought in when the price of rise fell to shit doesn't mean it is doing well.  It has dropped from an average of 10k to 12k down to what it is now hovering between 3.5k and 4.5k.

I can understand why a lot of people are feeling angry over this coin for being dumped so hard.  Hopefully it can claw its way back up to where it "should" be.

It might seem like to you its up 250~300% because you bought in when the price was at shit levels, but most people are still reeling from a 50 to 70% loss from when it was at 10k ~ 12k and this isn't helping the reputation of this coin.

you sound like a kid who lost his deposit
nobody asked anyone to hold coins when it is simply not advisable to hold if you are not patient
people who are angry and reeling have just themselves to blame, not the coin

STFU. Next time an amateur like yourself loses 70% come crying on this forum and let the people tell you how stupid you are yes?  This is the kind of community Rise doesn't need.

BTW I'm a hodler and I still have a considerable investment in Rise, probably a shit ton more than you could dream of.

i dont lose 70% and come crying like you and your homies

dumb money always changes it hands in the exchanges, thats what always happens and will happen
