Since August the price has been up ~250-300% from €0.07 to €0.25 and has been steady around €0.20 even amidst the hard fork dip. I think it's doing well. I wonder at what price people jumped in?

Just because you bought in when the price of rise fell to shit doesn't mean it is doing well.  It has dropped from an average of 10k to 12k down to what it is now hovering between 3.5k and 4.5k.

I can understand why a lot of people are feeling angry over this coin for being dumped so hard.  Hopefully it can claw its way back up to where it "should" be.

It might seem like to you its up 250~300% because you bought in when the price was at shit levels, but most people are still reeling from a 50 to 70% loss from when it was at 10k ~ 12k and this isn't helping the reputation of this coin.

you sound like a kid who lost his deposit
nobody asked anyone to hold coins when it is simply not advisable to hold if you are not patient
people who are angry and reeling have just themselves to blame, not the coin

amateurs

STFU. Next time an amateur like yourself loses 70% come crying on this forum and let the people tell you how stupid you are yes?  This is the kind of community Rise doesn't need.

BTW I'm a hodler and I still have a considerable investment in Rise, probably a shit ton more than you could dream of.

butthurt kiddo, i know you are an amateur, the first sign is boasting how many coins you got lol
every new kid on the block does that, dont worry

i dont lose 70% and come crying like you and your homies

dumb money always changes it hands in the exchanges, thats what always happens and will happen

stop crying to about the devs when you lose money

Are you some stupid illiterate or something?  When did I come crying about the devs?

What part of I am a HODLER did you not comprehend?

Go back to school you illiterate ass.

Thanks for clearing that up! If you turn a 50-70% loss, I can totally understand that you're disappointed and angry. I'm not disregarding that at all. I bought a batch at an even lower price than I stated before, so my average price on this coin is pretty low. That's indeed why, from my point of view, it's doing well.

But on the other hand, even if you bought in at 10-12k, posting all negatives here doesn't help, but hurts your investment. The coin seems to be clawing back up and found a stable point for the moment. That's my observation and I was wondering why I'm reading that many negatives all of a sudden. Maybe calling it "doing better" instead of "doing well" is a better choice of words. It looks like the project is gathering steam with the new developments and project launches. To me that's a positive.

Of course, if someone has info on the CURRENT changes and developments and think we should stay away from this coin, please share. We all want/need to know that.

You're a hodler with a considerable investment and yet you cry like this when the price dips? Unless someone willed that money to you, you should be deep enough in the game to know how this works. You invested your money into something, the returns aren't guaranteed. Furthermore, the fundamentals of what you invested in haven't changed. If you truly believe in the project, you'd be buying the dip instead of crying on the net about how the price is shaking your confidence. This dip has nothing to do with the fundamentals of the coin and everything to do with outside factors like the BTC hardfork and all the China FUD from last month. Unless you want to use your deep pockets to keep the price up so you can sleep easy, I suggest you pipe down and be a bit more patient. You think the team stopped working because the price went down? I don't think so.

7th newsletter has been released:

find it and the 6 previous newsletters here : http://rise.vision/index.php/news.

Some great stuff in there about what Rise aims to be :

  • DLT (distributed ledger technology)
  • platform to create decentralised applications
  • build SDKs for all popular program languages (Python, JS, C#, Ruby, ...)
  • smart contracts
  • side-chain / asset token creation

Rise is here to stay and the train is moving now! Don't forget to hop on before it moves to fast Wink

Good that there is a weekly news paper. Firmly believe in the project now, the new team has turned this one around
Just a suggestion, in the weekly newsletter you could include more technical updates that have happened, right now its a bit light on the technical details

RISE is also one of the best paying dpos coins so vote for your delegate and start staking in;-)

i agree and I would also love more details but it's the team's choice to not give away too much details untill things are done. There is however a lot more public github activity and a status update page so things are starting to move a lot more.

Would have expected to see the price "Rise"a bit. But this downtrend doesn't seem to stop.
