WTF? No pools are working?! I just wasted money at nicehash for nothing. Damn.
edit: ...and NO they are not still working but I just can't see it in my dashboard
Pools are working. ypool and maxminers. Im mining on both. Updated the Ann, the third pool seems to be dead. |

the whole gpu coin and market place already happen like 2 years ago i think and it did not end well as I remember and it was n-scrypt algo
The old GPU coin, by the looks of it had a lack lustre dev team, trying to sell brand new video cards from a country where they were already expensive to begin with. They tried to operate a store front, in an actual building with expensive costs. The only purpose their coin had was to buy video cards from their website. people did'nt want the expensive cards, they probably went bankrupt pushing the idea to fruition and had really nothing. . . They may as well of made an EDT (eau de toilet) coin and sold perfume from a fleamarket booth . . This GPU coin has a far greater purpose, and lots of uses will be implemented!!! I cant start offing things for GPU coin until it hits an exchange and a some sort of price establishes. Currently GPU coin is worth 0$ |

Thanks guys. For a while, the network rate had dropped right off and I thought I could pick up some easy coins with my 970 but I could only get maxminers to work for short periods and then I would get disconnects. Not even now. Nope just tried again on both ports - nothing. Anyway, I managed to pick up ypool.ga though and it's working well. |

You're making making me laugh over here. No I am still mining with my 970 but after a while of getting next to nothing, I decided to try out nicehash (somebody here told me about it). Right now I am mining on a 0.01 BTC fixed contract which is almost over. I think I'll end up with close to 200k GPUcoins when it ends. Then I'll be back down to my 500 kH/s again. edit: It wasn't my intention to blast the pool. The minimum rate with Nicehash is 0.1 GH/s for scrypt. Even though I tried a lower number which was accepted, I have still seen rates as high as 0.4 for short periods. I know it drives up the diff and I'm sorry about that. I would have preferred to simply buy the coins but we don't have an exchange. |

Best advice I can offer anyone as to what to mine is watch the ANN's mine new launches, get in early. Be paitent and know when to dump . . Crypto is such a gamble all over the place. Ive had the best luck catching coins at launch, you need spare time and constantly watch. If your busy then the easy way (but least profitable) is to set it on multipool and forget . . |

ya nicehash does that ;p it's nice when you get a bit of extra hash NORMALLY, but sux when your trying to be nice to a coin's difficulty! i see your hashrate bouncing on the pool heehee, shit eh? The worst part is that it messes with the difficulty. At least the diff changes are fairly quick with this coin. At this rate, my blasting will be over within a couple of hours  |
