I guess its a benifet to us all if we work the pools together.  no point me renting 30 mhash when homer is blasting it with 100 !!!  all of us with some asic can have a turn.  when homer is done Im going to throw some more power at it !!!

I'll give it a rest after my nicehashing is done - probably 2 hours left on my contract.  I would like to get my hands on an older scrypt miner.  Those gridseed units used to be everywhere but they seem to have disappeared.

you can order alot of scrypt miner parts off ali express.  It wouldnt be hard to build a massive one for cheap . . i was thinking a 3ft x 4 ft 1/2 inch plate of aluminum have the bottom 6 inches dipped in water, and the top 3 ft of both sides covered with chips . . silent no fan cooling . . between the size of the aluminum plate and the water pool at the bottom temps should be reasonable . .

Sounds like quite a project.  I'd worry about the water though - it shouldn't be an issue as long as the chips are warmer than ambient.

grodseed 5 chip . . 18.61 US unlimited pieces . . .considering i can run them in scrypt only mode with no heat sink whatsoever and they are barely warm to the touch. . . would be cheap to find a heatsink to cover those 5 chips only . .
