yes bitcoin halving is real, but whats the real purpose of halving [...]
The answer to your question is just some posts above your one. Anyway, the purpose of halving is to limit the supply of BTC; in this way, halving the rewards of mined blocks every about 4 years, in the long run there will never be more than 21 million of btc, making it a deflationary crypto-currency. edit: source https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Controlled_supply

Which is a good thing, because it does offer something truly different from the fiat systems of the world and allows for us to take control of oue own finances directly, without watching their value peter away through inflation and other devaluing methods. 21m is a good cap, kind of a random number, but a good number nonetheless.

I've just added a source link to my previous post, and in that page I've found some interesting speculations about why 21m: Speculated justifications for the unintuitive value "21 million" are that it matches a 4-year reward halving schedule; or the ultimate total number of Satoshis that will be mined is close to the maximum capacity of a 64-bit floating point number. Satoshi has never really justified or explained many of these constants.

Then when things are settlted, the inflation will decreased so it works like an normal currency.

As others have said--correctly--the halving is real. But there's a big debate about whether it's going to affect the price any. There are some who say it's already priced in, while others say that you can make easy money. I'm with the former group. I don't think there's any easy money like that, but you can make your own decision. I don't think it's a bad idea at all to buy one bitcoin now.

The halving is real but I have read that it is going to be canceled but I do not know if this is exactly true or not. The halving could be good for the people that want to buy Bitcoins because it makes the coins allot cheaper. If you want to sell this is less good news.
it can't get canceled, it's hard coded in the blockchain itself, it can't be tampered with or it wouldn't be bitcoin anymore. however, the effect on the price can be debated. Some say it will go up, others say it won't do anything while yet others say it will go down. It's hard to predict what exactly will happen, but the halving does mean that over time, the supply gets lower. So a realistic expectation is that over time bitcoin will rise in value because supply is lower, and demand assumingly either the same or higher.

You can buy it and if price will not increase after halving, it will increase anyway later. Invsest in bitcoin on long term is profitable and everybody know it, also with halving you have a good chanse to get extra money(but it's not 100%).

Yes bitcoin halvinf is very real and many experts and speculators believe that price per bitcoin will truly rise by the time it occur and if you see the past history of bitcoin halving it trully tells that it has great effect to the price per bitcoin and past chart tells that bitcoin is rising for halving. And thats very good news to use because we can earn a lot of it and surely it can gain many users and i dont think it will be canceled because history cannot be cancel.

There is a possibility that the value will decrease, but that would be a correction (as mentioned in the speculation subsection) and would just require holding a bit longer to get your investment back, and then make a profit, assuming it starts moving back in an upwards direction again.

I don't think that bitcoin suffer from decrease in value, to my assumption bitcoin halving is real it will be more advantage to its users and brings well defined benefits.

Yes halving is real announced by the protocol system management team that they will pay 12.5 Bitcoins instead of 25 BITCOINS for every block of transaction found , and that is not only a rumor but the proofs are available at there.

Of course it is real but theres no exact time when it is going to happen. Many speculators said price will go high when halving but there is still a possibility that it will go down. But as I can see now price is going high now as many expected.

Yeah indeed its real because as history says it ia schedule to be happen this year and many peole awaiting for it and many holder beleives that they can earn big profit with it and also many speculators that bitcoin will be at highest price this year as many people expected to it. But i dont think the price will go down because the past history charts it says the price is rising when halving occurs.

Yes it's not a joke. If you have the guts to buy BTC1 today just go. It's your money after all. Goodluck and remember not to just hold it as it may result for a different result. Nice suggestion, but there are some people who are of the view that at halving it is not the believe that the price will increase, they say that there are also chances that the price will increase, and now some rumors have been appeared that may be the halving is cancelled.
