I believe that Spurs would be a decent test for both Pep and Spurs, Mourinho versus Pep has always been a thing in the past and because Pep was luckier he got to richer clubs and managed to get a decent result, at least won the league and all that, Mourinho is now dropped as low as Roma which is not horrible but it is not a team that is fighting for champions league. We have proven that Pep is not great at champions league, he literally came to finals versus Chelsea, the same team they beat by a huge point margin in the league and the same team that lost to Leicester on FA cup very recently and they ended up losing to them in the finals.

If you ask me that is a good enough reason to fire him and get a new manager. At this point I know it would sound insane for most but I suggest Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa, I just believe in him too much, in a few seasons he can take this team to domination over Europe, but I have personal bias because I like him so much.

It would be a REAL test for Pep to see if he can actually manage a team without a big budget and only one or two really world-class players. He is famous for turning no names into big names at City but he still had a team of stars surrounding them,,, so very interesting to see if he can at another smaller club with tight budget and it does not get tighter than Spurs LOL

Pep will never go to a tier 2-3 team like Spurs is nowadays so don't get to hype around that idea. Pep clearly said he has a single purpose left with City and that is to make them think and believe they are they top team in Europe so they should win UCL in the next 2-3 years. @boltz Tottenham may not have won the league title in a long time now, but they’re definitely not a tier 2 - 3 team. Furthermore if you have forgotten they were on the top of the premier league table for a very long time this season, before they chocked and collapsed which proves they’re a quality team just and they just need a right coach to help them challenge for the title.

20/21 they went through a pandemic and 3 coaches, as well as some injuries on the main man Kane. I think we can cut them some slack and still call them a good European team that does not belong in any tier 2 category.

tygeade I am a Spurs fan here and I do not know what the London native fans feel like but from a very small group of Spurs supporters in my hometown I think we can summarize our thoughts as this,,, we are a good club and we are a London club, so that has helped us attract a lot of players who would not usually pick our team (living in capital overseas is always important for family I believe for many foreigners).

But at the core, when you see who we have had and our motto, we do believe in good and positive football and have had the ability to turn people into talents. Think back before our current team and see Gareth Bale, even people like Llorente, and think about Modric, and think about Berbatov to go that far back!

Since Kane, who by the way is almost every season fighting for golden boot despite every season getting bad injuries, as Hhampuz shows, we have made champions league and gone through group stage. And we finished in good places in Premier League.

At less budget than others, at less star teams than others. We just had a bad board that did not support Poch but otherwise we were a good team at points. See how we played especially two season and three seasons ago! Watch 18/19 Champions League and tell me that was a second rate team:)

Spurs have good players but the general quality of their players is not at top levels. Some of them are at top levels include Harry Kane, Son Heung Min. I can not find other players in Spurs can have same level of Kane and Son. Bale is not their player and he has problems with his fitness.

Spurs can not belong to the top 10 because they can not end their national league (Premier League) in top 2 or top 3. If considering the top 10 is best clubs from top national leagues in the Europe, they need to be in top 3 of their national leagues, and their leagues need to be tier 1 in the Europe.

Spurs belong to the top 20 but that top does not make sense. They can not win titles, just try to join the Tier 1. Harry Kane feel disappointed because of no titles from his contributions.

Okay:) No worries I am not offended if that is what you think I am,,, but when you say second tier, and now you say Spurs is in top 20, then I am puzzled because first tier to me is the whole of premier league, la liga, serie A, bundesliga, etc,,, from all the "top seed" national leagues of uefa coefficient.

To be in top 20 european clubs and still becoming second tier, then how many tiers are there in over 100 clubs from all the big leagues?

I am guessing that they got caught doing something shady or lost a lot of money and they are simply venting their frustrations in this thread. Don't waste your time trying to explain anything to them.

I was challenging them so any future prospect of trying to taint a sites reputation is going to be lessened because they know that they will have to answer to the people who are asking for a proof that the site really did this and that. Also, I try to be just by being neutral and trying to make sure that the accuser can make their case.
